What was there before the Big Bang??

We live in a very small part of this BIG universe...we have no idea of how big it could be. Most scientists says that a massive and violent explosion created this whole universe. Before this whole Universe was single, jammed and packed together, and then a massive explosion caused this universe to form...

Now my question is what was there before the Big Bang?? What exactly was there?? Some say that TIME itself started with the Big Bang, thus the question what was there "before" Big Bang doesnt make sense on the first place as there can't be any "before" if theres no time. But still it bugs me a lot..

Please discuss and this matter here!!

I researched a little about this and your right apparently time and space both started at the big bang but what's even more interesting is that if nothing existed before the big bang where did all the matter come from that formed everything that we see today?

My question too. The law of physics is that: Energy cannot be created nor can it be destroyed, only it can be changed rom one form to another.

So if energy cannot be created, then how did the universe pop out of NOTHING??

I heard it happend after iceage everything started to melt so all the countries started to move away but of course religious scriptures give a different answer.
