Shiva is not worth fighting for. The guy never treated Raavi as his equal partner, always finding fault, doubtful of her intentions, now come to think of it, he never loved her. This relationship has always been one-sided from the beginning. and still is. It is unfortunate they have a child together.

She should not only call the cops on him and the family, she should also divorce him and walk away with Mitthu and keep him away from Shiva for life. As is Shiva has zero bonding with the child, he will be a bad influence on him. If Raavi wants Mitthu’s future to be good, she needs to move out of that house, else Mitthu will become another nalayak just like Gautam, Dev, Shiva and Krish under Gobar Saas and Gobar Bhabima parvarish 🙄

She should at the very least threaten the family with this so they finally wake up. Even after he registers himself at a marriage bureau Suman is still seen telling Raavi to quietly put up with it. Clearly they need a big jolt.

As a woman, mother, wife and a DIL I get disgusted when such things are said about women through dialogues.

Just because its a fiction and they post a screen long disclaimer, the writers are free to say any crap- demeaning women and other ethnic groups , include sexist and racist dialogues 🙄

The team of writers of this show is full of misogynists, hope they learn a lesson on how to treat women properly or simply rot in hell🙄

The words used aren't ones I would associate with a decent person. I could still understand if that was the kind of environment he grew up in, but there isn't even that excuse in this case. It's beyond me why they are opting for this.

Shiva has now also started to assign every woman he meets with a 'moniker'. This is the same guy who had a problem with being called names himself. It's either a lack of consistency in the writing or sheer hypocrisy of the character.

I'm assuming he does coz they don't sound Gujarati at all and more Mumbai slang he must memorize the script but not word for word and obviously you basically say the gist of the dialogue and sometimes use added words. But the writers are the ones still making the script and they are all fine with these things. In BTS we always see the guy reading the script aloud and the actors saying the dialogue and it's basically true to the script.

Don’t you think she has given enough chances to Shiva and this family? Threatening has never worked with Shiva, Suman and Dhara. They know how to attack the weaker and exactly know what’s Raavi’s weakness, that she is an orphan, has no where to go, they are her only family. Hence though being a woman, Suman and Dhara behave differently with Raavi than how they behave with Rishita, Shweta and Prerna. Both Gobar Saas, Gobar Bhabima are shit scared of these 3 ladies.
Raavi’s life is already ruined, now whatever Shiva is doing will have an effect on the child too, so no threatening business, she should get straight into action and take the legal route.

What has this guy done for Raavi in the last 9 years they have been married other than humiliating, abusing and given her mental/emotional torture after torture.

There is no saccha pyaar for this guy. He’s always been about himself, his whims and fancies or Dhara’s whims and fancies . Raavi got cheated by him and this nalayak family but the girl lacks self respect and self esteem big time, else she won’t put up with this BS.

On the first day of the meeting, he gets a proposal from the girl just like Disha, Surbhi, Rakhi, Tia 🙄🙄🙄🙄

For Shiva to receive her marriage proposal means she must also be registered at that same bureau and looking for a groom. Hope she turns him down quickly, segment voice-over talked about her being angry with him, as it doesn't seem like anyone else will do anything about this.

Yes according to the writers and Shiva , Jungllee, Jaahil, Gawar, saand, anpadh are problematic but Item girl, rapchandus, jabra are not problematic at all. 🙄
It is a combination of both - Lack of consistency and sheer hypocrisy of the character that Shiva is allowed call others names but when he is called, he will burn things down, same way as his mother and Bhabima 😕

I personally would have been okay with her walking out on this marriage at any given point. They haven't bothered to show any reason for her to hold on to it. As you've mentioned it's been too one-sided. Every time there is a problem Shiva's instinct has been to break or threaten to break their relation. That's obviously not healthy.

Her not having any family or financial security has certainly played a big part in the family treating and allowing her to be treated badly.

The only reason I mentioned the threat is so that if and when it doesn't work she hopefully finally gets disillusioned and starts to think about her own self (and her son).
