The makers are literally killers of characters just to glorify one character.
Gaumbi- He started off as a mature, loving, responsible son and elder brother who happens to be a father figure for his younger brothers and a ideal son to his paralyzed mother.
He has now turned into a comic, immature, drunkard, henpecked and useless fellow that has lost all the respect as a person, and elder brother and a son. Loving your wife is okay but he is dead in love. Its only Dhara for him.
Dhara- Don't even get me started. She was suppose to be a mother figure guiding the BILs and SILs towards the right path maturely as per her experience.
But this one is a control freak, forced mom, pretentious to be righteous.Just wants to be a mother to one and all bu hook or by crook. She wants every life under her control. Her right is everyone's right and her wrong is everyone's wrong. Ends up leading every life to misery by just keeping things to herself so that she can take the credit later. Well all the credit goes to hers and the blames never touch her for long.
Dev- He was supposed to be a calmer and matured brother out of three who would balance the anger of Shiva and Childishness of Krish and be a guiding force for both of them.
But he ended up becoming a nikamma nalayak husband and father who cannot afford a treatment for his daughter and has to take favours from his younger brothers. Be it 7 years ago or today. He never arranged money. Shiva arranged before leap and Krish arranged after leap.
Rishita- She was suppose to be a practical DIL who would find it difficult to adjust in the middle class environment and who would have a bitter sweet relationship with family members.
This one is depicted as a one who is through and through selfish and would only love and respect you till she is getting favours from you. Once you become useless for her she will pack her bags and leave. This one is all about Mai, Mera Dev, Aur mere bacche.
Shiva- The most complicated brother out of all 4 of them, who was introduced as most selfless and giving character. The one who would always think about the family and Pandya Store first and would never think about himself. The one who use to say I am all for my family.
He is now given dialogues like. "Mai naukar hoon" "Mere Baar Me Koi Nahi Sochta" "Mujhe bhi biwi chahiye" "Aap log nahi karate to mai khud kar lunga" and all the other BS. He has lost his dignity. He has lost his charm for wha we all fell for this character. I remember loving Shiva more than Raavi at one point. But makers forced me to the point where I cannot stand him.
Raavi- The pure hearted, selfless, loving girl who knew nothing but to spread love and happiness. The ever so smiling. She went through so much but had a pure heart to forgive everyone and was sane enough to not believe her maasi when she used to instigate her against Pandyas.
She is now considered as the weakest link to break the family and is seen to be instigated against people. (Though the points Shivaank made were all true). Raavi use to always use her own brain. I remember her telling off her maasi. "Mere rishte hain, Mai sambhal lungi" the makers are now getting her instigated ad have turned her into a dobi doormat of Pandyas.
Krish- The one who was introduced as a laadla, innocence loved by all yet spoiled with love character who knew how to bring smiles on the faces of his family even in difficult times
He is now turned into a chor, casanova, good for nothing bigamist who is a spineless man. A person who is all set to blame others for his condition yet never owning upto his mistakes.
Suman- The one who was introduced as a coconut. Strict from outside but with a loving heart.
She has turned into a blind Dhara bhakt and a vile lady who just knows how to blame bahus and forgive betaas and Dhara forever. The one who is more concerned about her apna khoon than humanity. The one who spits venom in the form of words. The one who gets her things done by emotionally blackmailing the family and finds it funny to punish them using her 101 tareekas..
Sometimes I wonder, what did we sign up for and where are we standing right now.
