I think the kite idea was in lieu of Makar Sankranthi which is this weekend and Gujaratis have kite festival as part of it

Shiva is a living breathing human being unlike the store and it makes more sense to mortgage your house to get some money for a human being's treatment than to delay the treatment to get back a store that they can start anew somewhere else 🤪

I think they may want to start it parallel to the opening of the show, because that's how the show started too, didn't it? With the kite flying during some festival (I'm assuming Makar Sankaranti)?
