Not to forget that would require actually coming up with something new. Here they just stretch things for as long as possible and then repeat the process.

I mean Rishita mocking Raavi about her job doesn't even make sense. The only person Raavi had been upset with was Dhara so why show Rishita taunting her. Was it to make her and the audience believe that Raavi was the one in the wrong or was it the usual of Rishita being inconsistent and Raavi constantly insulted.

It is absolutely awful but at the same time so absurd that I can't help but laugh at it.

I would understand wanting them to be sensitive and sympathetic towards Dhara, but to expect them to always prioritise her over not only their wives but also children is so utterly ridiculous. And it is made even more so due to the lengths Dhara has been shown going to for a child that she doesn't actually have any rights over.
