I don't think writers want to show Raavi wrong here. After today's episode except Shiva diwanis everyone would feel bad for Raavi. What Raavi is facing is faced by many working women. Shiva ne bahut bada bada dialogue bola tha about equality and all. Lekin jab baat nibhane ki aayi toh woh mukar gaya. This shows his regressive thinking

I have asked my husband many times in front of my MIL and she has never said anything at all.

Khudki ki list mein Raavi last mein hain, Raavi ki list mein yeh top per hain still iss baat ka ego hurt hain ki Raavi is also thinking about something else except him and his hypocrite and nasty family.

It wasn't the fact he had an issue it was his whole attitude over it like it's some crime to give her water coz she came back from work and her asking is a sin. His anger took over and he became a hypocrite basically. Then he lets his mother abuse her like that and then practically throws water on her like he did some favor for her. Raavi has never even in her most anger done this to him. I have always been told never insult food or water like this even it's for some other person no matter how you feel it's just not right at all.

Exactly. Shiva said dhang se bolti toh kuwa khod deta. Aur kya dhang se bolti?
