i feel bad for shivas character ...and kd there is like a literal heaven and earth difference between his and kathirs character as husband...although shiva is best brother and son...he can not be even compared with kathir when it comes to his role as husband.... there is definetely more ss given to kd as shiva but even in those times he is made to do babhi bhakthi and his character seems butchered...atleast even if raavi is given less ss space alice as raavi has not to do bhabhi bakthi....and her character is well liked...
Agreed! Kathir is a better written character than Shiva. Though he kept pushing Mullai away, she never gave up and they never made Kathir file for divorce. He was also insecure and didn’t think he was suitable for Mullai as she deserved better but the journey of him coming out of the insecurity was shown beautifully and finally realized that if the girl is not leaving him inspite of him pushing her, she truly thinks he is good and likes him too.
But here everything was dealt in the opposite way and finally Raavi was blamed for the divorce tracks both times 😕
I also agree Kathir respects Dhanam, will do anything for her but his actions are always toned down and not like what Shiva does here. Then again Dhanam is very reasonable and genuinely a nice person as opposed to Dhara😕
