And, this is what set in this disturbing feeling, which I still haven't shaken off yet....

Khushi, fairly illiterate (atleast speaking legally), super sanskaari (no one can convince me that the girl would have moved on EASILY from Arnav if he HAD gone through with his words and broken their wedding off at the six month mark) Khushi, spends months, MONTHS, thinking that she's a legally married woman, when she's NOT. They never register it, there are no witnesses when they marry at the temple, which, in the serial itself, is proven to not uphold itself in the eyes of the Gods.

I don't even remember there was a prenup or not so this signing is news enough to me. 😆

I skipped those episodes so yeaaahhhh no idea. Even as a kid I SKIPPED THOSE EPISODES.

Yeah, exactly! And that freaks the fukc out of me! Matlab, imagine the number of ITV FL belles, who spend months tolerating shit thinking their married, and they actually legally are NOT married!!!!! Sometimes not even religiously so, because it doesn't count unless there are witnesses, and the main rasams atleast are carried out properly! Even in the eyes of the law!

You should have looked at the Fanfictions people wrote man...kuch bhi likhte the under the tag of 'Dark Stories' as it got popularised. Justification of abuse on another level.
