KD performance was outstanding. Even the previous episodes, he was damn good.

It's just that we can no longer connect with Shiva. His complaints yesterday, his question whether or not he was a good husband, it was immaterial because Shiva was beyond repair with respect to his behaviour with Raavi.

Today's showdown made a difference because the family has never supported him. The divorce, the dahi hands competition, when Raavi came back, even now; the family has always supported Raavi, and that hurt him.

What Shiva doesn't realise is that it's habitual for them. From childhood, it's Shiva who's done something or the other (not that Raavi is blameless, but Shiva generally is short-fused), so the family is used to taking Raavi's side. Everyone understands her innocence, including Shiva (he's overlooking it due to being a bailbuddhi), so they feel it normal to give her the benefit of doubt, especially after her declaration.

With such a serious allegation, he burst out with a vengeance against all, primarily the feeling that the family has take for granted. That is why this scene was impactful. His accusations against Gaumbhi and Dev were true, with respect to marriage & taking a stand for him. They do take him for granted and his life was bartered due to Dev's inability to make & stick to a decision.
