Request to Moderators of Pandya Store

Love the fact that you have so many topics and such an active forum, but 95% of these are fan fiction threads…how is one supposed to actually talk about the show and articles related to the show. Why can’t these threads put in a separate sub topic so that the forum is tidier? What is more intriguing is 100% of these are Shivi foam fictions - what about the others…to get 2 people’s fans you are alienating 5-6 others’. Anyway that is a personal choice but please consider my request to put them in a separate folder.

Second thing about the show, here we have a thread called EDT which means Episode Discussion Thread where the episodes are discussed by everyone.It’s the most active thread so it finishes quickly in a day and is made another next day.

Articles related to the show are posted by @evilxbalaa on the page where you can discuss about the articles.
Now let’s come to fan fictions , here the fan fictions are written by the members of this forum, they are not entitled to be written by the Forum or anybody else , the members itself write the fan fictions according to their choice so no one is here forced that you should write fan fictions on certain characters and exclude or not write on other characters.It’s completely the writer’s individual choice.And its not that hundred percent people have written fan fictions on shivi only I guess you have missed some others too.You can search it on the search tab, still you are not able to find it , let me know I will help you find those.

Thirdly I don’t think you are a newbie looking at the Dazzler batch but would still inform that not only in this Forum but in our neighbouring Forums too no separate section has been made,all there is a section of Fanfictions but members on all forums find it user friendly to read on the main forum pages.

And its writers choice what they want to write , about whom they want to write. 😊

The kind of folder integration you're talking about, isn't something the Mods can create at will. It's a feature that will have to be implemented site wide by the IT department and by the Admin of IF. You can leave your suggestion for the same in this thread.

Welcome to the Pandya store forum firstly.

You've been a member since 2004 (much earlier than I have) so it shouldn't be news to you that fan fiction threads have always been created as an individual thread by each writer. This enables them to gather feedback on their writing. It is posted in the forum of the show they are writing for mainly for other members who would like to read about the characters in different settings, as well as to garner more reads.

There are social media threads, episode discussion threads and various threads that are created voluntarily to enable the forum to have a healthy discussion. In saying that, the charm of the forum is that if you spend a little time looking, you might stumble upon something else of interest.

Assuming you are short on time, you can simply add certain threads to your watch topic or you can use the search bar. Those are fairly direct methods to go to the page you wish.

As far as Shivi fan fictions go, that again is a personal choice. Forum members are free to write on whom they wish. Please note that there is no stopping anyone else from writing on other characters. I, myself have written multiple fictions on "shivi" that will include the whole family, as have many other writers. However, members who prefer the other characters may not wish to spend time writing. There are other sources outside India forums that do have fan fiction as well that might appeal to your interests in terms of show characters.

In regards to putting things in a specific folder, the member above has already provided a place for you to put in this request. Although it is a good option, most members may find it too tedious to create threads in a specific folder depending on the use (as this would have to be set up very specifically or require volunteers). I haven't come across any forum sites that will drill down information that deeply. Frankly, personally that would make it feel more like a chore and work, if I had to be super organised with the threads.

If you do have any suggestions on something you would like to read on any of the other characters, we have a thread in the forum (link below) where suggestions can be given and will, be picked up by a writer if it intrigues them enough.

Hmmm, the folks above have covered most of the important points... If you're looking for Gaura fics, then there are 2 of them I think. One is completely AU, and one is Gaura with Tara, a FF by @PoohNotFound, although I don't remember the title.

As for Devta fics, there was an author who asked if people would be interested if she wrote on them, and quite a few were interested, but then she disappeared.

Also, a lot of the Shivi fics, including my own, do have scenes with the whole family, or portions where other characters emotions are explored as well. And that's a fairly common thing throughout FFs on the forum. Beyond that, it's the author's personal choice who they connect to and whose story they choose to tell.

The EDT exists for discussion of all characters and the show's episodes as they come, but you can of course open a seperate discussion topic if you would like to discuss something specific about the show or it's characters. They've been done before, and more discussion will always be welcome so long as it brings positivity, I think.
