If it was Shahi production: He will use the fantastic coastline context of Somnath in storyline.
Will keep tab of local location specific happenings & weave in story!
Somnath is great coastal town. This came across today:

As Gujarati alwsys had complaint about how PS ignores all things Gujarati except gaali galore, which is not so common.
All I can say form the post above is that you can hear the camaraderie / integrity / experience and above all respect for the craft AND fellow peers who have made the show what it is!
Rupali has been in the industry since a long time and she has done many roles which you remember her by. From Monisha Sarabhai to Anupama it has always been a treat to watch her but above all this interview just reflects true artist behavior.
Something that ALL the people related to any form of art should possess instead of constant disrespect for any part of the audience and casual attitude towards their art form.
This was a calming thread to read :)
Thanks for sharing~🤗
Rupali’s answers show her maturity, experience and her love for the craft, which is sorely lacking in PS team.- I meant the entire team - cast, crew, writers and the PH.
If you are self-obsessed and not a team player, you bring the whole product down. It is clearly happening in PS.
I really respect rupali Ganguly as an actress.i have been a fan of sarabhai vs Sarabhai.anupama is a show almost watched by every household.i am not a regular follower of the show but i have seen some episodes and everything is so brilliant and on point.acting, direction, dialogues, editing, background score.everything.no wonder the show is topping the charts.it deserves to.
Humble and grounded professional artists and makers open to feedback and criticism.i heard that a scene was heavily criticised where vanraj spoke about domestic abuse.the audience on social media pointed out that how wrong it is for someone who himself has slapped his wife to say such things and others listening.after seeing the backlash on social media, They shot a scene between anupama and vanraj where she calls him out and shows him the mirror.i am not sure if it's confirmed or not though.
The other show of this PH also Saw a huge jump in ratings and is on number 2.All I can say is success comes to those who are humble, grounded and take criticism to improve themselves ❤️

They did- this is recent & swift- right away. No giving room for complaints to grow! Was impressed how intune & responsive this PH is.
Her part on Maan scenes & how they are promoting & showing what audiences respond to in new show: top notch connect to the pulse of the industry!
& these inputs were almost parallel while ps ka different pr galore was on! That’s the difference. Priorities.
I am going to start watching Anupama. Know the basic storyline from the all the discussions I have read so far in this forum for the past 9 months.
I have Hulu, get all the SP shows, then why not?
I can be happy knowing that atleast one show is addressing social issues, abuse, relationship issues etc,
I think I need this for my own sanity as PS is antithesis of what Anupama is, which is sad considering original PS is like Anupama with much less toxicity.

That's really impressive.
The fact that they listen and respond to feedbacks.the difference between 1.9 and 4 + ratings.

Rajan Shahi show, isn't it? Anupama, I mean. My mother used to watch YRKKH, back when it was still Hina Khan and Karan Malhotra.... And I remember some of the tracks being extremely nice. Yes, there was a huge family involved, everyone was probably too nice for their own good, and sometimes bakwaas happens. But Hina's character Akshara had a miscarriage, or almost had one, and i still remember how sensitively, beautifully they'd portrayed it.
And unlike PS, his show's always have conversation, positive progression. If there have been 3 generations of characters and that show is still running strong, it's because people feel good about watching his show. Basic human psychology that anyone can tell you.
The Chaubeys were the writers for Balika Vadhu's first season too, weren't they? So it's not that their incapable of good writing, seeing as BV became a cult show. Why can't they look beyond whatever it is that's holding them back (whether it be off screen politics, forgetting that this is a remake of a show that might as well have a cult following, or something else)?
I've said this before, I'll say it again. This is why PS will always be a failure to me. Because it never reached the potential it has, and it doesn't look like it ever will. Sad.

Sathya, FYI, Choubays did not write BV season 1.
These are the writers
They are not writing BV Season 2 also though it is by the same PH.
Season 2 Writers
Purnendu Shekhar
Gajra Kottari
Usha Dikshit
Rajesh Dubey
Shipra Arora
Lakshmi Jaikumar
Yash Sharda
IMO, Choubays cannot write anything, period.
