You probably will if you have some kind of knowledge of Telugu, or even better Malayalam. If you don't, then it'll take a bit of time, but you'll probably understand in bits and pieces eventually if you Google word meanings or something Min! ❤️

I actually meant that in the sense that Tamil grammar is pretty straight forward, very based on logic and not a lot of rules that you don't know what they're even there for (unlike English), and the genders aren't as confusing (unlike Hindi). Also because you can write exactly what you speak and vice versa and you wouldn't be making a mistake per se... 😆

Nope. My mother tongue is Tamil and I learnt to speak way before school. We grew up in Dubai (so Hindi was the second language at school), so I have no idea about any of the rules of Tamil. I can only speak & understand (to a certain extent). No reading or writing skills unfortunately.

But my sister was a late speaker, so she kept getting confused due to the use of English in school and Tamil at home, and therefore couldn't learn either one of them. So we started using English at home so that it becomes easier at school. And that stuck.

Hindi comes easily because I studied in Pune. I speak Tamil mostly with Dad or extended family members (and they mostly make fun of it).

P.s. Her Hindi is just as bad as her Tamil.

Hope she is fine

Why aren't the rest of the cast shooting

Iam sure there are more cases coming out of their sets which they are hiding behind intense acting 🤪

Yeah after 7 days u don't even need to get tested and continue with Normal life.

Either Alice got hit severely and got ill that's why didn't returned back or asked for more days off.

Mohit too isn't there right ?

I'm going to try that.. I have watched Tamil movies with subtitles... So some of the more commonly used words i eventually picked up (haven't watched any movies recently so will have to brush up 😂) but sounds like a plan! ❤️❤️

I watch the episode summaries on YouTube (only a couple of minutes for what looks like the full week) but I did actually enjoy watching that hence why I thought of watching it properly

Ahh... I grew up in Qatar initially, until 6th grade or so, but my parents made it a point to strictly talk in Tamil at home, and taught me the Tamil alphabet when I learnt the English alphabet... My Tamil is accented though, and teachers, Tamil or otherwise, still call on me for it. I've gotten called out by a couple Professors at College for it, because knowing Tamil is important for us to be able to talk to patients clearly... 😆

Oh wow! I grew up in Qatar as well! 🤗

Lived for a couple of years each in Dubai and Bahrain, but spent the majority of my life in Doha! Lol I'm just excited to meet someone else from there ❤️ Miss that place 😭

And I feel ya ... Even I speak Konkani (my mother tongue) with an accent 😅

That's pretty cool!! My dad tried to teach me, but he and I both have tempers, so it didn't work out. And Mom's from Pune so her Tamil is as good as mine! 😆

Fortunately, I'm in finance, so the language wasn't compulsory.

Are you still in college? I'm assuming in TN, since the language is important.

Did you enjoy growing up in the ME?

I enjoyed India more than Dubai (despite growing up here), so the former's more home than the latter.
