I'm back with another cliché TS. This is what I wished would happen in the maha episode
Kitna laadhenge?
Devastated, that's how she felt. Once again, she was rendered helpless as she watched the man she loved become someone else's. Tears were filled to the brim in her eyes and she felt her heart clenched, begging to be released from the pain. Suddenly, the world began growing darker and darker until complete blackness filled her vision. She heard a couple voices yell, but she couldn’t distinguish who it was. That was the last thing she remembered when she collapsed.
If there is anything that scares Chattan Pandya, it's seeing his chipkali in a vulnerable position. There have been many times in his life where he had to witness Raavi break down and each time got worse than the last. His heart was already pounding when his mother nudged his hand towards Disha’s. He wanted to look at her, to will her into spilling the truth but he knew he would break down on seeing her heart-broken face. Shiva stared at the ground when he felt a cold metal brush against his fingers. When he heard his bhabhis scream for Raavi, his blood ran cold. He turned around, yanking his hand away from Disha only to find Raavi on the floor in Rishita’s arms.
He was at a crossroad. On the one hand was the promise he made to his mother, his opportunity at a ‘better’ life, and on the other was Raavi who was his life. Shiva’s control snapped and he ran to her, not even bothering to explain anything to Disha. He couldn’t stay away anymore, not when she needed him. He pushed Dev and Gaumbi aside and took her in his arms. Vaguely, Shiva heard someone on the phone with a doctor but he didn’t have it in him to focus on that conversation. Shiva carried her over to their room. He couldn’t help but wonder how this would feel under different circumstances: her in his arms as they both are dressed up to celebrate their wedding.
Gently, he placed her on their bed and reached over for a glass of water. There was a loud crash. Shiva looked over only to realize that he had knocked over a full plate of that morning's lunch. ‘Okay so she is fine. She just skipped lunch.’ Shiva thought much to his relief. Rishita bhabhi arrived with a glass of water that he proceeded to sprinkle on her. He sighed with relief when she opened her eyes. Shiva expressed his concern the only way he knew how: through anger.
“Tu akkle kaha bech ke aa gai?! Pura din tunne yeh bakkwas sajawat ki par khanna nahi khaya?” His voice boomed.
“Kya?” Rishita interrupted, “Raavi, tune kal dinner bhi nahi kiya tha, breakfast toh karti nahi aur lunch bhi skip kiya? Thoda toh dhyaan rakha chaiye ne apna.”
Shiva was now boiling with anger. He knew for a fact that she had skipped lunch the day before since they had to go to court which meant that she hadn’t eaten in 2 days, was still doing household chores, taking care of Dhara bhabhi, and decorating the house for his engagement with another girl. He gave her one look and she knew she was done for. Shiva left the room. Raavi called for him, but he ignored her and proceeded to walk out.
The next half hour was a literal nightmare for her. She wasn’t allowed out of the room and she knew the love of her life was getting engaged to someone else less than 12 feet away from her. Raavi cried silently, praying for the pain to go away.
Finally, Shiva stepped back in the room with a plate of food. He got her to sit up and took a seat on the edge of the bed next to her. Raavi looked down, avoiding eye contact with Shiva at all costs. Shiva prepped a bite of roti and sabzi and brought it to her lips. She glanced at his hand and immediately looked up to him.
“Teri anghothi?” She asked, noticing his blank hand.
“Idhar main teri chinta main paagal hota jaa raha hoon aur tuje anghothi ki padi hai.” Her eyes looked back down and she took a bite of what he wanted to feed her. There was silence for a few more bites until Shiva spoke up again.
“Nahi ki maine sagai.”
“Saach?” Raavi asked with a tinge of hope.
“Haan. Tuje aise dekh ke laga to tuje meri zarurat zyada hai.”
“Shiva!” she whined.
“Kyu tune aisa kiya? Tuje kuch ho jata toh? Tu kyu meri jaan nikalne pe tuli hui hai? Pele bike wala drama phir tune toh khaana hi band kar diya.” he begged for answers.
“Itna sab toh ho gaya mere saath. Shiva, humara rishta almost toot gaya. Kya karu main? Aisa lagta hai jaise jeena hi bhul gai hu. Tuje uss Disha ke saath dekhti hoon toh shadi wale raat se dus gunna zyada bhura feel karti hoon aur fir Kaki bhi koi kasar nahi chodti muje yeh yaad dilane main ke teri life main mere liya koi jagga nahi hai. Main thak gai hoon akele ladte ladte. Ek dusre se aur ek dusre ke liye bhi. Muje bas ab shanti chaiye aur agar woh muje hosptial ke bed pe mila toh woh hi sahi.”
“Tu kabhi bhi bol ne se pele soch liya kar. Meri halat kharab ho gai thi tuje zammen pe dekh ke aur tuje shanti ke liye hospital jana hai? Tuje nahi ladna, thik hai. Nahi ladengi. Tu bas apne dil ki baat ke de phir khabhi nahi ladna padega.”
“Shiva, pichli baar…” Raavi got cut off.
“Main Dev nahi hoon.” Shiva asserted.
“I… I love you. Main tere saath rehna chahti hoon, teri biwi ban ke.” Raavi blurted out. She looked away in embarrassment.
“Main bhi tujse pyaar karta hoon. Aur humehsa karunga. Aaj se humare rishte ki nai shuruvat.” Shiva promised. Shiva continued to feed Raavi and Raavi would return the favor in between bites.
