It was a remake and it had great reviews and no typical ITV drama.

I expected ki Poora copy paste nahi bhi karte but basic storyline rakhte.

I thought atleast there won't be divorce and 3rd angle wala drama after reading the original ki story on Wiki.

I still got ok with Divorce part even when I was annoyed with Shiva.

Now they brought Disha and now this.

PS is one of the rarest show which doesn't need nonsense or shit to show to get TRPs.

If they show happy family moments, funny scenes, bonding, good convo. It rocks the charts but no typical gatiyapanti toh dikhaye bina kese chalega.

The worst is the way they treat Raavi as a character.

No one gives a damn about her feelings.

Worst is

She herself never does.

Palak, just imagine me watching this show and watching the OG on a daily basis. They are like chalk and cheese. I am not saying they should copy everything but with the way the characters have been butchered is appalling.

In the OG each and every character is strong in it's own way. Dev who we make fun of here and Jeeva in the OG has a very strong character. He was instrumental in Meena adjusting into the family and her support and consideration for her was commendable. That said all the characters have retained their essence to this day and have grown leaps and bounds.

As much as I prefer not to speculate, after today, I need to prepare myself for all the possibilities. So the way I see it, there's two major ways they can move forward.

1. Direct and honest Shivi confrontations

Raavi asks Shiva if he's really interested in Disha, and he clearly denies it. Then Shiva can also ask her directly why she has such a strong reaction to Disha....Maybe for once, Raavi can answer honestly, and smartly, that she wants to be with him because she likes him the way he is.

I don't care if its a series of confrontations spread out over weeks as long as there's honesty and not gol gol baatein I know iske chances kam hai, but still putting it out there.

2. Ego mein, they may play the farak nahi padta hai games while trying to make the other jealous.

Both will try to instigate the other...both will want the other to declare themselves first. Iss mein, insecurities, self-respect, rishte ke lihaaz, everything will get ignored 🤔 All the scenes will be about both of them wanting to get a reaction from the other before they reach the mandap.

Based on the "move on" dialogues during the dandiya sequence, this definitely seems more probable 🤔 But since I'm not too fond of this method, I hope that before they start a full fledged shadi drama, Harshad chopda says yes to yrkkh and I can move onto that 😆

Unfortunately option number 2 seems most likely at this point. It's the ITV rule, it will drag the show, and it will give the makers TRPs 🤪

Max 2 months post that. Star plus is ruthless in that sense. They won’t heed to popularity- look what happened to anokhishow.

All 7 leads+ Krutika should oppose this- it’s their livelihood after all.

KD needs to VERY carefully enact Disha kaand scenes. His reactions were what has bothered all too!

If shiva speaks up & redeems himself tomorrow- some hope. Though looks highly unlikely since kanta disha are going to be at Ramleela too.
