Exactly. we know how Shiva is. If Shiva do indeed slap her, then our conception on Shiva will change. But it won't be a character growth, it's just promoting physical abuse. This is ITV drama. Most people just watch this for entertainment. Today's episode just boosted our senses and now we are looking forward on what shiva will do. We know this is a toxic drama(every ITV drama is) but we still watch it and let it go. But in my opinion, Whether u r a girl or a boy, Violence, abuse is never the answer.

I'm not sure if it's because they want to maintain Bhabhi supremacy or if it's because of offscreen dynamics. But I've given up on a proper character arc for Raavi.

Also, I've always thought that Dhara is the FL and Shiva is ML. Their partners are just meant to support Dhara/Shiva in their issues, instead of having their own stories 🤔

Yes dear...where ever we need monologue of raavi we get dhara's...and it seems it was just to fix her SS ka quota

I can never forget the mirror monologue of raavi cut abruptly n screen shift to Gadha..after raavi offers jwellery to shiva during room kaand

Palak, just imagine me watching this show and watching the OG on a daily basis. They are like chalk and cheese. I am not saying they should copy everything but with the way the characters have been butchered is appalling.

In the OG each and every character is strong in it's own way. Dev who we make fun of here and Jeeva in the OG has a very strong character. He was instrumental in Meena adjusting into the family and her support and consideration for her was commendable. That said all the characters have retained their essence to this day and have grown leaps and bounds.

It would be a torture for u.

Honestly I haven't watched this week's episode starting from Saturday and saw aaj ka clips bcoz couldn't deal woth whole episode.

Makers have themseleves made me detach from the show.

I am watching 2 other shows which r quite new.

One is EK ka

People can cry about how horrible her shows are still they r better for starting few yrs.

PS wale couldn't manage the show even for 6 months.

This one has a great ml and what makes me happy is that

They have pressure from family and both teh main leads love them a lot.

But they never let their families force their opinions on them about each other.

&

The way he has his friendship with his best friend ki wife is adorable.

The other one has 3 couples but what I like is the way they manage their stories and give them ss.

The show is full of beautiful platonic bonds

All the characters have short comings no one is shown perfect and best is they r called out for it and they came out better. They work on their wrong.

They have shown how the 2nd guy's best friend who is a girl defends him in front of his lady love.

They r wrong and they agree to it and try to correct it. They make the character come better by their best friends

And I want the same with Shiva and Raavi.

I want their sensible and non toxic friends to talk with them and hear them out.

I don't want want random guy or a girl to come and confess their stalking and love at first sight and later crossing their boundaries.

Writers could have treated this track a lot better but......

It is not important to show divorce and 3rd angles to make the 2 people come together or fall in love.

Raavi asks Shiva if he's really interested in Disha, and he clearly denies it. Then Shiva can also ask her directly why she has such a strong reaction to Disha....Maybe for once, Raavi can answer honestly, and smartly, that she wants to be with him because she likes him the way he is.

I don't care if its a series of confrontations spread out over weeks as long as there's honesty and not gol gol baatein I know iske chances kam hai, but still putting it out there.

2. Ego mein, they may play the farak nahi padta hai games while trying to make the other jealous.

Both will try to instigate the other...both will want the other to declare themselves first. Iss mein, insecurities, self-respect, rishte ke lihaaz, everything will get ignored 🤔 All the scenes will be about both of them wanting to get a reaction from the other before they reach the mandap.

Based on the "move on" dialogues during the dandiya sequence, this definitely seems more probable 🤔 But since I'm not too fond of this method, I hope that before they start a full fledged shadi drama, Harshad chopda says yes to yrkkh and I can move onto that 😆

@bold: I feel the same, judging on how PS has been running since its inception

Shiva and Dhara are the only two characters whose feelings, thoughts, actions and reactions have been properly focused on. The rest are treated as props based on situations or tacks
