I know many are saying that Raavi has been treated unfairly. My heart would have gone out to Raavi had she reacted in a way that showed she was hurt and heartbroken. But she didn’t. She kept her tone light and funny as well. Like you, I would have preferred had this scene come after the divorce. But keeping that aside, Shiva’s reaction was natural. Now Raavi, as usual has me feeling confused.

Agreed

When doesn’t she have us confused btw🙂

Not necessarily.

What I mean to say is that he can always love her, she will always be his first love and wife but he has the right to move on and be happy with someone else. I say this from personal experience, I loved someone for more than 15 years I spent my childhood, youth and early 20s loving someone that saw me only has a friend. I did everything to get him to like me, i became someone else but once I realized he is not going to like me more than friend I moved on. He is very important to me, I still love him even though I am engaged. A part of me will always be his.

So I am not mad that Shiva is open to remarriage but I understand being upset that he is showing interest to other women while he is still married.

This kiss was nothing abt friendship..it looks like a kiss after the date night..and it is inappropriate in so many levels and to add coming from such a regressive place like that mohalla in somnath.. I can't accept this..writers deserves chappal for giving us this..

I saw the clip in IG… episode I don’t think I can watch ever…

the whole vibe and whole sequence made it feel like that Shiva is appreciated and the girl really liked him for what he really is … she doesn’t want to change him ever…

I know its not right and no joota chappal please but if we just go by story…It makes sense that Shiva feels more comfortable around this Disha…

Someone pointed this out in the forum that Shiva and Raavi are not exactly in love and very far from a normal relationship… and I agree… Infact I myself pointed out the exact stage which shiva is in (attraction)…and the stage Raavi is in (affection) … they have a looooong way to go to be in love….

This whole track will bring progression in their relationship…Shiva will realize that his feelings are beyond care and attraction…. he has to overcome this feeling of unworthiness and consider himself to be her equal.

Raavi has to move past thinking that Shiva is insecure…also not for the adjustment or compromise or to be part of pandya family, whether she genuinely wants to be with Shiva…

the question whether they both will choose each other willingly when they have other options… that is the highlight for me in ongoing track… because otherwise this makes absolutely no sense…

I always rooted for Shiva-Raavi as a couple… but given current scenario, the kind of humiliation Raavi is suffering at the hand of Suman… and how low Shiva is feeling about himself…and how toxic their relationship became… if you go by that … Disha is a welcome change..(only for now.. please don’t kill me)

I wish they make raavi take a little practical approach rather than making her a walking talking jealousy volcano..

Yaar..I totally understand ur situation..but shiva is shown as he is scared of being married to someone else..he has not moved on..he is not even ok in terms with his own issues.. still being open to new relationship will be like repeating the same issues with a new girl..u urself said u moved on....but shiva never moved on..he still watches ravi sleep..befr watching frm balcony..thinks abt her all his time..still hopes she might have comeback for him..dreams of her stopping the wedding..is it right on the new girl?..is it right on himself tk do something against his own will?..I dnt think so..

I am going to again refer to the avoidant-attached partner style of human interactions.

Shiva burning in anger about Raavi and his friends wasn't dimensional jealousy but a strong reaction towards their words that demeaned him too. At that time, they had hoped for this marriage.

They both were acting like a married couple. Shiva fell for her madly and then went on a rage. He always believed Raavi never has a spark with him, and then the entire chain sequence finally leads to the end of their relationship. So, despite a subconscious hope, Shiva has given up on Shivi long back. He always believed - Raavi tho Tujhe Milne se Rahi.

Question to why isn't Shiva angry anymore. Shiva’s extreme reactions had always been reserved for Raavi. Generally, he is friendly to people and soft-spoken. His friends, too, are like him. Also, Shiva has mellowed down after the debacle. He is like that with Raavi too-extremely passive. It happens when you aren't in the proper state of mind.

I loved the Shiva-Disha conversation. He did warn her and quite frankly told her that he was the one wrong in his relationship. I have always said that Shiva has a habit of bottling up his internalised emotions and burst in the form of a volcano. He isn't very open with family members or Raavi.

He has no emotional attachment to Disha, but validation as a worthy human being made him part surprised and an incredible sense of peace. He could be liked too.

Trust me; I have been through a broken phase of love where a lost relationship had shattered my self-esteem like hell. You seemingly naturally get peace when someone validates, accepts you and makes you feel better during that phase.

Does that mean Shiva is in love? No, he is not and will never be because we know his world revolves around Raavi.

Also, commenting on how different is Shiva’s reaction to Raavi and men. It shows Shiva was more invested in his relationship than Raavi ever was!

I am removing the moral compass because they are technically married. I am slightly annoyed at Raavi’s reaction and the bizarre being married still a thing. I wouldn't have minded if they had shown this after the divorce.

Sometimes, it's easier to pour your heart out to strangers because of the lack of any strings in the conversation. You have nothing to lose. Shiva warned her about his shortcomings and how she should find a better man than him.

I like Shivi and their journey. It isn't cliched. It's interesting to see two people having so much chemistry yet so distant. How they cover the gap is their USP.

I would have been extremely bored if two normal pati-patni like progress had been shown.

We have Gaura for that!

Bold: Are we soul sisters? 😀

I mean the same thing happened to me. After deciding to move on from my first love my fiancee proposed to me just a few months later. When I asked him why he wants to get married to me? He listed all the qualities that he loved about me, the thing is that those qualities like my simplicity, quietness, being a bookworm, loving my culture and religion were things my first love didn't like about me. So to have someone say that those are my best qualities/traits, it was soothing to my heart and soul.

I guess you are right, especially when you put that way.

I think he is in the limbo phase, one part that has given up on the relationship and wants to move on and the other part that is hoping for a miracle.
