My personal opinion? Please don't. Neither Shiva or Raavi are the type to cheat, ever. In fact, I doubt the Shiva and Raavi on the show would choose to move on with someone else even if they got divorced, not without family pressure at least.

There are a multitude of other facets that you could choose to write on that I would love to read instead.

@bold Nobody's asking you to do rosy love stories. You don't have to think about extremes. EMA is simply very out of character.... Nope, I don't have any ideas to suggest girl. Rest assured, this is a very welcoming forum, but also one that believes in maintaining as much positivity as possible. Any story would be welcome so long as it doesn't make a mockery of what the characters stand for...

Please read my reply clearly. I said you were free to explore. As for dark desire fics? The fics you are talking about only had excessive possessiveness at the most, and if a line was crossed, a good redemption arc was present.

I expressed a personal opinion on the EMA topic, clearly. If you do not agree and wish to still write your fic, go ahead. So long as you don't break IF rules, I'll gladly just skip right over.

Regarding the story, of course you are free to write whatever you wish to, but please keep in mind that those who may not like the theme of EMA or the butchering of characters may just skip over your story

Personally I don't think shivi could ever do cheating and affair. That's so not in their character. TBH I'm sick of this cheating and affair trend in itv. Definitely don't want to read that.

I would love to read a different story! Fluff and sweet romance isn’t my cup of tea when it comes to fanfic. However, EMA isn’t either. Maybe a story based off of a MU where one believes the other has cheated? Or maybe they broke up and became intimate with other individuals and how they work their way back to each other? Anything that does justice to the integrity of the characters and has a proper arc. ITV shies away from showing multiple partners but in real life, so many people date/break up and become intimate with others and not just their “soulmate”. Please do tag if you end up writing! Not active on this forum but would like to read something new! 😊

I had actually an idea for writing an EMA story where Raavi was married to Dev and begins to emotionally cheat with Shiva because Dev was distant. But I ditched that. So 🤷🏻‍♀️
