Part 5

( Note : I'm considering their marriage to be one year old so that they can apply for divorce under Indian laws)

The counselling session started with basic questions regarding their age ,profession etc. The counsellor was shocked to know that they had only been married for a year and were already applying for divorce.
When reasons were asked for them applying for divorce , Shiva clearly stated that he hated her and this marriage was more like a compromise.

Raavi didn't have any particular answer so she just agreed to him. The counsellor asked them to rethink their decision as they were young and there were no serious issues like violence or abuse in their marriage. There was a lack of communication and they could sort out their issues if they talked their hearts out. Shiva didn't say anything in particular but moved out of the court followed by Raavi. The next date was supposedly after a month and he didn't know what exactly he could do.

Shiva.. ruk , Raavi called out to him.

Tune suna nahi counsellor ne kya kaha. Humein baat karna chaiye , she said with a slight hope in her eyes.

Dekh Raavi, baat toh wahi log karte hain jisko apni shaadi mein koi bhi hope bacha ho. Par hamari situation alag hai. Hum dono yeh shaadi bhi nahi chahti ti ,toh baat karke fayda, Shiva spoke firmly.

Tu sach mein mujhe nafrat karta hai ,isi liye mujhe divorce kar raha hai , Raavi asked with a broken face.

Dekh Raavi,tu..

But before Shiva could complete his sentence, they saw Gauri coming towards them. Both of them were shocked to see her there.

Shiva ,tu yaha kya kar raha hai , Gauri asked without noticing Raavi.

Woh main.bas... he didn't know what to say.

Raavi decided to speak the truth. She was done with playing the hide and seek game.

Counselling ke liye aayi hai , Raavi said and Gauri looked at her surprised.

Counselling ke liye ? Matlab tum dono.....

Divorce kar rahi hai , Raavi completed her sentence and Gauri looked at them with shock evident in her eyes.

Matlab you guys were married.. Par maine socha Shiva Raavi se...

Before Gauri could complete her sentence , Shiva motioned her to stop and Raavi was quick to notice this.

Kya keha rahi thi tum , Raavi asked and Gauri didn't know what to say.

Nahi ,kuch nahi. Woh toh chodo. I know I'm just a nobody to have a say in your family affairs,but I'm sure aap dono ko koi galat fehmi hua hoga. Aur Shiva jo maine tujhe pehle kaha tu uss ke baare mein seriously soch.

Turning to Raavi she said ,

Tum mujhe jaante tak bhi nahi ho. I'm Gauri aur Shiva ki bahut purani dost hai. Main bas yaha pe apni internship or research ke liye aaya hoon. I hope the next time I see both of you ,aap log khush hai.

Saying this Gauri left and went inside the court making Raavi confused.

Shiva turned to leave and Raavi held his right hand tightly.

I know tu kuch nahi kahega,phir bhi puch rahi hi hoon.Yeh sab kya chal raha hai? . Kya chupa rahi hai tu mujhse ? Aur kyun kar rahe ho yeh sab? Sab kuch achhe se chal rahe the na hamare beech ,phir achanak divorce ke soch tujhe kaise aaya Shiva?.

Raavi didn't know if he would say anything,but she just couldn't stop herself from asking all of these things that has been haunting her mind.

Kuch acche se nahi chal raha tha hamare beech. Tu compromise kar rahe the aur mujhe tera ehsaan nahi chahiye Raavi , he spoke not looking at her.

Ehsaan ? Kya keha raha hai tu?. Aur compromise toh sab karti hai na life mein , Raavi replied blankly not understanding what Shiva was aiming at.

He couldn't understand how she was telling that compromise was such a small issue. Couldn't she understand the severity of the manner?. She was literally burdening herself with this marriage where there was no happiness at all.

Shaadi mein koi compromise nahi karti. Agar aisa hai ,woh zabardasti ki rishta hai. Aur tu kaha khush thi mere saath. Tu ne kaha hum dono zameen aasmaan ki tarah hai ,sahi kaha. We don't match aur mujhe aise zabardasti rishta mein rehne ki shauk nahi hai , Shiva spoke and walked away towards where the scooter was parked leaving Raavi speechless.

Was he thinking that she was staying in this relation without being happy. Is it why he wanted it to end?. She started regretting all that she said to him in grief and anger. Initially she thought she was compromising on her happiness by staying in this marriage ,but she was wrong. It was just a thought that had arisen due to her sheer stupidity. She was always happy to be around him ,but started realising it only when he distanced himself from her. She missed their tiny fights ,pranks and what not. She realised her whole life was literally surrounded by him and their marriage had only made it stronger further. She couldn't live without him being by her side. That was impossible.

Even if he wouldn't talk to her what was in his mind,she wanted to tell him her feelings. She didn't know how but she should do that before it's late. At least she wouldn't regret that she didn't tell him her dil ki baat.

Jo tu soch rahi hai ,woh sacch nahi hai Shiva, she told him before getting into the back of the scooter.

He looked at her amused but didn't say anything. Maybe he needed time , atleast that is what she thought.

The whole journey back home was silent. Raavi was thinking how to talk to Shiva and Shiva was thinking about what Raavi told him.

Raavi was leaving college in haste. It was already 5:30 which was an hour past college time. She was working on an important project for which she had to stay back after college. Most of the students had already left except a few who were busy with assignments and other works.

As she was moving past the college gate , somebody caught her right hand. She turned around and saw that it was Rahul. She could feel anger coursing through her veins at his mere sight.

Kya kar rahe ho tum ,mera haath chodo she shouted and he smirked looking at her.

Soon a few others joined him and raavi started getting scared. She didn't know what they were upto. The security was nowhere to be seen and that information did nothing to stop her raging heart.

Chodne ke liye thodi na pakada hai. Aur tu toh badi sherni ban rahi thi us din. Ab kya hua. Dar gayi kya , he asked coming closer to her and Raavi kept silent.

Dekh ,agar tumne meri haath nahi choda toh main complaint karungi , she said as a last resort.

Tu kuch nahi karega. After all tu ek ladki hai he smirked and came close to her. He started caressing her cheeks making her turn her face to the other side in disgust.

Ab kya karegi tu?. Yaha pe koi bhi nahi hai. Tu chal mere saath ,main tujhe aisa ehsaas dilwaunga ki tu woh junglee gawaar ko bhi bhool jayega.

Raavi pushed his hands off her cheek and stood a little away from him and spoke , Shiva Pandya hai uska naam aur woh mera pati hai. Khabardaar agar tum ne phir se uska badtameezi ki.

Raavi's face raged in anger and Rahul laughed at it.

Jis insaan tujhe chahti tak nahi hai ,uske liye itna pyaar. Kya jaadu kiya usne tujh par?. Lagta hai ki usne tujhe bohot zyada "khushi" di, he said stressing on the word khushi and Raavi understood what he meant.

Woh mujhe khushi dega ya nahi ,yeh hum dono ki beech ki baat hai. Tumhe usmein interfere karne ki zaroorat nahi hai. She said and started walking away but Rahul again caught her hand.

Tujhe itni asaani se jaane nahi dunga main. Tune mujhe sabke saamne thappad maara aur tujhe lagta hai ki main uske liye tujhe maaf karunga , he pulled her towards himself and Raavi fell right onto his chest. She felt her eyes glistening with tears and she started wishing if Shiva was here.

She tried pushing him away but he held onto both her hands tightly. She started feeling helpless and didn't know what to do.

Rahul shoved away her dupatta from her neck ,making Raavi shocked. She tried to pull away from his grip but to no use. He started coming closer in an attempt to kiss her and she turned away her face. Before his skin could even touch her somebody pushed him from the back making him fall down on the ground with a thud. Rahul's friends were shocked to see Shiva standing there with fury in his eyes.

Raavi looked at Shiva and he assured her with his eyes that he will deal with them ,making her at peace.

Shiva picked up the fallen dupatta and handed it over to Raavi. He pulled her towards his back as if he was her shield and marched towards Rahul and held his collar.

Teri himmat kaise hui Raavi pe haath lagane ki , he punched Rahul on his face and blood came out from his mouth.

Two of his friends tried to hold Raavi but before that Shiva held her hand and pulled her close to him. She gazed at him for a second and that is when Rahul tried to attack Shiva.

Shiva she screamed and Shiva was cautious.

He leapt forward and held both of his hands and punched him on his stomach making him groan in pain.
Before Shiva could further attack him ,two of Rahul' s friends came and held his hand. Raavi who saw this became alarmed.

Rahul came towards Shiva and spoke,
Tu apna aapko bada hero samjhta hai na. Dekh tu meri aur Raavi ki beech mein interfere math kar warna bohot pachtava hoga.

Shiva used all his strength and pulled himself away from the grip of those two and walked forward towards where Rahul was standing.

Main hero nahi hoon villain hoon. Aur yahi baat Raavi ki ,tu hote kaun ho uski. Dost hai toh uski tarah behave karo. Agar aage se kisi bhi ladki ke saath tune aise behave kiya na ,toh tu zinda nahi rahega , Shiva spoke with rage evident in his eyes.

Tujhe lagta hain ki main teri baat manunga?. Tu divorce karne wala hai na Raavi ko ,phir bhi kyun interfere kar rahe ho hum dono ke beech mein. Waise bhi tu khud use izaat nahi karta ,then don't expect me to do that. Actually mera plan use kahi hotel room pe le jaane ke tha par..

Before Rahul could complete his sentence , Shiva slapped him hard and started beating him. Rahul's friends tried to stop him but he wouldn't budge.

He held Rahul by his collar and shouted, Kya kaha tune ,use hotel leke jaaunga? Teri himmat kaise hui itni ghatiya baat karne ka?. Raavi meri biwi hai aur jab tak main zinda hoon tu use kuch nahi karega. Aur yahi baat divorce ki woh hamara personal matter hai aur hum sort out karenge. Par abhi tak talak hua nahi hai aur agar hua bhi toh ,woh phir bhi family member hai. Us din tujhe chodna nahi chaiye tu jab tune kaha ki Raavi ko leke bhaag jayega. Aage se aise soch bhi tere ghatiya dimaag mein aayi na toh mujhse bura koi nahi hoga. Samjha tu ?.

Rahul was now getting scared seeing Shiva's rage and nodded his head. Shiva let go of him and walked towards his other two friends and said , Agar tum logo ko bhi aise dose nahi chahiye toh chali jaa yaha se.

Rahul felt weak and his friends supported him in walking. Shiva still looked at them furiously and they started walking away as fast as they could.

Meanwhile Raavi who heard everything what Shiva said was standing in the corner and crying. Shiva felt a pang in his heart seeing her tears. He went towards and held her shoulders and she shivered.

He said softly, Raavi woh log chala gaya.Sab kuch teek hai.

She immediately hugged him and started crying , Shiva main bohot dar gayi thi. Woh Rahul mujhe choone ki koshish kar rahe the. Agar tune time pe aaya nahi to...

Ssh..tujhe kuch nahi hone dunga main. He caressed her hairs and tried comforting her.

Shiva allowed Raavi to cry till she wanted and slowly pulled from the hug. He wiped her tears and made her stand straight.

Aaj se tu college akeli nahi jayegi. Main drop kardunga tujhe. In logon ka koi vishwas nahi hai , Shiva said.

Kab tak Shiva?. Kab tak tu yeh sab karega?. Agar divorce hojaye toh phir.. tera mera kya rishta hai, she cried in the last sentence and held onto his arm for support.

Shiva now understood that he needed to talk to her. He couldn't decide for himself what she wanted. She should decide it for herself.

He looked at her and said , Jaise tune pehle kaha humein baat karna chahiye. Aur mein tujhe promise karta hoon ki tu jo chahe wahi hoga Raavi.

Raavi looked at him in surprise and Shiva nodded at her.

Agar tu teek hain ,toh hum ghar chalte hain. Agar tujhe kuch time akela chahiye ,toh hum beach pe chalte hai ,teri favourite jagah.

Mere baare mein itna sab kuch jaan ne wala Shiva ko meri dil ki baat kyun samajh nahi aayi , she questioned him and he didn't have an answer for that.

Tere har baat ka jawaab dunga Raavi,abhi ke liye hum chalte hai.

Raavi nodded her head and held his hand. To her surprise he held her hand even more firmly and took her to where the scooter was parked.

Shiva ,tu achanak college kyun aayi , Raavi asked him before getting into the scooter.

Woh main Krish ka fees bharne aaya tha. Par ab yeh kal karna padega, Shiva said.

Raavi held onto his waist tightly and Shiva understood that she was still scared. He allowed her to do so. He wanted her to be happy and everytime she spoke about the divorce she was upset. If he truly wished for her happiness he had to listen to her. With that thought Shiva drove towards the beach. This conversation will probably decide the future of their relationship.

Loved it!! Finally those Idiot friends did something that allowed Shiva to give her an opportunity to decide what they wanted. Hope Raavi can clarify what she wants and stays away from the word compromise or makes him under where compromise could be made and what she really thinks of him as a person! Part 6

Shiva and Raavi were sitting on one of the rocks by the beach side. Both of them didn't speak anything for a while basking in the silence.

Tu mujhe kya puchna chahti thi Shiva asked.

Tu mujhe kyun divorce kar raha hai?. Tu abhi bhi mujhe nafrat karta hai kya ? Raavi asked him.

Her heart told her that he didn't. Or else he wouldn't have been this angry with Rahul. She heard him say that she would still be his family even if they got divorced. The Shiva who hated her, who wouldn't even allow her inside Pandya niwas had said that and it changed a lot of things for her.

Nahi , he said without looking at her.

She held his hand more tightly and asked , Phir yeh sab kyun kar raha hai Shiva?.

Mujhe laga tha tu khush nahi hai mere saath. Tu khud yeh baat nahi kahegi kyunki tu rishte todne wala ladki nahi hai , he said looking at her.

Isiliye tune mere hisaab se faisla liya, she raised her voice a bit because she was clearly angry. How dare he make decisions for her?.

Bhagwan ka naam diya tujhe. Par iska matlab yeh nahi hai ki tu sab ke liye decide karega. Atleast faisle lene se pehle tujhe mujhse puchna chaiye tha ki main khush hoon ya nahi. Par tune sab akele decide karliya, she started accusing him and he listened to everything in silence.

Main soch bhi kaise kar sakta hai ki tu khush hai. Tujhe Dev jaisa padha likha gentleman ladka chahiye tha aur mein aisa bilkul nahi hoon. Aur tune kitne baar bol chuki hoon ki tu compromise kar rahi hai. Teri yeh baatein sunkar mera dimaag kharab hogaya.

Raavi realised that he was speaking the truth. She never made him feel that she wanted him. Shiva was not somebody who assumed things especially when it came to people's feelings.

I'm sorry ki maine tujhe kabhi ehsaas nahi dilaya ki main kya chahti hoon. Par tune aage jo bhi kiya galat tha. Tune meri character par sawal uthaya aur tujhe kabhi apni galti ka ehsaas nahi hogaya?.
She wanted him to ask him this for long. How much ever she liked him didn't matter when it came to her self-respect.

Haa galat kiya hain maine tere saath. Shayad uske liye tune mujhe maaf bhi nahi karegi ,phir bhi chalega. Bahut baar socha tujhse maafi mangne ke liye par nahi kiya kyunki main nahi chahti thi ki tu mujhe maaf kare. Main nahi chahti ki tu iss compromise ki shaadi main rahe. Tu logon ko easily maaf kar deta hai ,jaanti hoon main. Mujhe aaj bhi bohot regret hoti hain ki maine tujhse us tarah baat ki. Tu kaisi hai ,acchi tarah se jaanti hoon main. Gussa mein aake uss din woh sab bakwaas bol diya. Ho sake toh mujhe maaf kare , Shiva said and Raavi felt that she didn't know this man who was sitting before her and talking.

Maine tujhe warn kiya tha ,teri yeh gussa tujhe bohot baari pad jayegi. Tu kaha meri baat sunta hai , Raavi said and Shiva kept silent.

Jaanti hoon main bohot gussa karti hoon.Yeh bhi jaanti hoon ki main jaahil junglee gawaar ,chalte phirte kiraane ke dukaan woh sab kuch hain. Phir bhi kyun rehna chahti hoon mere saath. Tujhe bohot accha ladka mil jayega Raavi , jise tum chahti hoon. Hum dono ka koi mel nahi hai, he spoke dejected and Raavi could feel that all this was hurting him. She never knew that all those terminologies affected him this bad that he degraded himself in his mind.

Tu bhi mujhe chipkali , gadheri , chudail yeh sab kuch toh bolti rehti hai. But iska matlab thodi na hai ki main yeh sab kuch hoon. Log hamesha bakwaas karte rahega par iska matlab nahi hain ki tu junglee hain. Dekh Shiva ,I'm sorry agar iss sab cheezon se tujhe dard hua ,maine kabhi tere side se nahi socha. Par main ek baat toh zaroor keh sakta hoon ,main aaj se tujhe yeh sab nahi bolne waali , she said hoping that it would calm him down a bit.

Tere bolne ya na bolne se sacch nahi badlega. Yeh sab toh main hoon. Acchai se zyaada burai hai mujhme. Isliye main nahi chahti ki tu mere saath rehke apni zindagi barbaad kare , Shiva said.

Raavi got furious listening to him.
Yeh Devdas waala dialogue tujhe bilkul suit nahi karta. Tu Shiva Pandya hai koi pagal insaan nahi. Aur woh Shiva kaha hai jisne apne aap par bohot confident tha. Yeh jo Shiva mere saath baithi hai woh bilkul stupid hai. Kya bakwaas kar raha hai tu?. Tujhe kabhi apni acchai dikhai nahi deta hai kya ? Kya hogaya tujhe ?
Raavi was shocked to see this version of Shiva. She had always known him as somebody who was confident and extremely happy in his life. When did he start feeling so inferior and insecure.

Aur tu shayad sahi keha raha hai. Accha ladka mujhe milega,par woh tu nahi hai na , Raavi said smiling and her last words shocked him.

Kya bol rahi hai tu Raavi?. Jab teri expectation ka ladka mil jaega ,tujhe khush hona chahiye na , he said.

Par tu hain na meri man pasand ka ladka,tab main kya karun , Raavi asked and Shiva looked at her as if she has gone mad.

Raavi tu pagal ho gayi kya ? Kya bol raha hai tu?. He couldn't accept that she liked him. It was too hard to believe.

Tu jo mere liye karti hai woh koi nahi karega Shiva. Us din khandar mein tune apni jaan daav pe laage di taaki mujhe kuch na ho jaye. Aaj bhi tune mere liye lada un logo se. Hamari shaadi se pehle bhi chaahe tu kitna bhi gussa karti thi ,agar mein koi musibat main hoon ,tu pehle aa jaata tha mujhe bachane. Tu jaisa hai bohot accha hai. Bas ek buri baat hai woh teri gussa hai. Par koi baat nahi ,mere saath rehke woh bhi teek ho jayega , Raavi said cheerfully and Shiva didn't know how to respond to that.

Raavi sirf isliye tujhe mere saath nahi rehna hain. Dekh tu kisi aur se pasand karte ho toh.....

Raavi got angry and she shouted at him, Kaisa pati hai tu jo khud ki biwi se aise bakwaas sawaal puch raha hai. Tu na ek no ka gadheda hai.

Itne der main apne baare mein baat kar rahe the. Ab tu bata ki tu mere liye kya feel karti hai,?
Raavi wanted to know what exactly was going on his mind. Even though she had a rough idea she still didn't want to assume and then make a mistake.

Main hamesha chahti thi ki agar koi mera life mein aaye ,woh Dhara bhabhi jaisi honi chaiye. Tu toh bhabhi ki tarah sab ko sambhalti hai , Shiva had a smile on his face while saying this.

Phir bhi tu seedha jawab nahi dega na. Tu na ek number ka unromantic kaddu hai , Raavi whined and Shiva chuckled at his reaction.

Main teri fairy tale ki prince charming nahi hoon jo sab kuch bohot sweetly bolta hai he said.

Haa jaanti hoon. Par tera yeh attitude na mujhe bahut pasand hai. Tu sab kuch directly bolta hai without any sugar coated words. Itna himmat aajkal log main nahi hain , she said and had a proud look on her face.

Tujhe achanak divorce ka idea kyun aagaya?. Sab kuch teek se chal rahe the aur phir kya hogaya? , she asked seriously.

Woh uss din Sneha se mili thi na. Uss din bohot bechaini si lag raha tha. Aisa laga ki main tere saath galat kar rahi hoon. Tu kya chahti tu aur end result main kya nikli. Toh main... He stammered and Raavi could understand that he was very much hurt.

Tujhe pata hai main Dev ko kyun pasand karti ti. Bas isliye kyunki woh hamesha acche se baat karta tha mujhse. Aur tu toh hamesha villain ki tarah mujhpe gussa kiya aur main hamesha tujhse naraaz thi. Par kabhi nafrat nahi ki aur yahi socha ki ek din tu mujhse pyaar karega. Aur yeh padha likha baat maine bilkul soch bhi nahi liya. Waise bhi tu bohot intelligent hai aur aisa nahi hai ki tu kabhi school nahi gaya ho. Tu toh bohot overthink karta hai Shiva. Aur kisne kaha tu gentleman nahi hoon. Agar nahi ho toh mujhe har baar nahi bachata ,meri izzat ke liye nahi ladta. Kapde aur education se koi gentleman nahi ban sakta Shiva she said and held his hand in assurance.

Tu apne aap ko itna gira hua math soch. Tu dil ka acha hai ,apni family ko bohot pyaar karta hai aur yeh sab kaafi hai mere liye. Bas tere dil mein thodi jagah mujhe bhi dede , she said and he looked at her with tears in his eyes.

Isliye pasand hai tu mujhe. Tu kabhi kisika burai nahi karta aur hamesha acchai dhoondtha hai, Shiv said and Raavi smiled.

Atleast tu maan gayi na tu mujhe pasand karti hai. Yahi kaafi hai mere liye , she said and wiped his tears.

Ek aur baat kehna hai tujhse. Mujhe na mere saath jagda karna Shiva pasand not hai this rotlu Pandya, she said and he smiled at her.

Aur jab tu aise smile karti hain na bohot accha lagta hai mujhe. Tu kabhi kisi se kam nahi tha Shiva aur na kabhi hoga. Tu toh Pandya parivaar ka strong pillar hai na, she said.

Aur yahi baat Sneha ki,maine uske saath saara friendship tod diya us din. Mujhe bilkul accha nahi lagta jab koi tera burai kare for no reasons. Us Rahul ke saath bhi bohot argument huyi thi do din pehle . As soon as Raavi said this Shiva looked at her shocked.

Isliye woh tere saath misbehave kar raha tha aaj? . Shiva couldn't believe that Raavi had taken a stand for him.

Haa kyunki woh tera bohot burai kar raha tha aur maine sabke saamne use thappad maara. Usne yeh bhi bola ki woh khush hai ki hamari shaadi uski wajah se tooti hai Raavi said and Shiva didn't know what to say. He never knew he was so important for her and she cared so much for him.

Raavi tu pagal hogayi kya. Tune usse thappad kyun maara. Log kuch bhi kahenge aur hum sabko thappad toh nahi maar sakti na. Agar aaj tujhe kuch hojata toh?. Shiva was concerned for her. He couldn't even think of something happening to her if he hadn't arrived at the right time

Tu yeh keha raha ki main sunti rahoon jab woh tera insult kare. Woh toh mujhse nahi hoga Shiva. Kya tu sunegi jab koi mera insult kare? Tu nahi jawaab dega kya? , she asked him back.

Meri baat toh alag hai Raavi. Agar tere baare mein koi burai kar rahi hai woh sirf aur sirf meri wajah se ho raha hai. Hum dono ka koi comparison nahi hai, Shiva said

Bilkul alag nahi hai. Kisika haq nahi hota tere baare mein aise baat karne ka. Jaisa main tera family hoon ,tu bhi mera family hai. Yeh sab bakwaas karke mujhe gussa math kar Shiva ,she spoke angrily.

Teek hain. Tujhe jo bhi karna hai tu karle par be careful. Pata nahi yeh Rahul jaisa log kya karsakta hai. Tujhe itne ghatiya friends kyun hai ? , Shiva asked and Raavi glared at him

Hogayi galti mujhe. Par mere saare friends ghatiya nahi hai. Acche log bhi hai jaise ki Sudhir, she said.

Sirf ladka tera dost hai , Shiva asked amused and Raavi smirked.

Kyun, tujhe jalan ho rahi hai kya? , She asked and he nodded his head in denial.

Pata nahi tu gussa karega ya nahi, Raavi said and Shiva was even more shocked. He had thought she had felt ashamed of introducing him to her friends.

Maine socha ki tu nahi chahta ki main unse milu. Shiva said and Raavi looked at him shocked.

Matlab tu us din waha pe tha. Main aisa kyu karega Shiva?. Raavi didn't understand what he was aiming at.

Aage se yeh sab math bolna , she warned him by pointing her fingers at him and he just nodded his head like a small child and Raavi felt that was cute.

Tu Shiva hi hain na? Mujhe shaq ho raha hai kyunki tu mera har baat man raha hai she said.

Ay chipkali ,zyada ud math. Teri baatein sun raha hoon kyunki tu sahi keh rahi hai , Shiva became his normal self and Raavi laughed at it.

Ab toh confirm hai ki tu Shiva hi hai. Tujhe na yeh dejected lover ka image bilkul suit nahi karta. Tu action hero hi teek hai , she said and he looked at her amused.

Action hero ? Kya bol raha hai tu? , He thought she was just being her usual dramatic self.

Arey ,tu toh poor ka poora action hero hai. Aaj bhi woh Rahul ke saath wahi kiya na. Aur yaad hai ,jab Janardhan Seth ne Dhara di ki insult ki ,tu na poora filmy mode mein gaya tha na waha she said admiring him and Shiva just laughed.

Tu na Raavi ,poori pagal hai he said and she just smiled at him.

They continued their informal banter for a while and that is when Raavi noticed that it was already getting dark. Everybody at home would be getting worried for her. She checked her phone and saw so many missed calls from Dhara di and Krish.

She held onto Shiva's hands tightly and told , Shiva humein ghar chalna chaiye ,bohot late hogaya aur Dhara di bohot pareshaan honge.

Tu call karke bataana ki tu mere saath hai ,he said.

Abhi uske liye time nahi hai. Chal abhi , she said and nudged him to get up.

Teek hai , he got up and also helped her to climb down the rocks.

She was about to slip while climbing down but Shiva held onto her waist at the right time and pulled her closer to him. She looked at him astonished but then composed herself and held onto his shoulders. Soon enough Shiva removed his hands from her waist. As he started walking away , Raavi held onto his right hand making him look at her.

Jab ghar pohonchte hai , kaki se batana ki teri koi dusri shaadi nahi hoga. Tu sirf mera hai Shiva, Raavi said and Shiva was surprised at the way she had claimed him to be hers.

He held her hand firmly as if assuring her that he is only here making her smile looking at their folded hands. Both of them had a slight smile on their faces. After all they had told each other the feelings hidden deep inside their heart.

It was already 7: 30 by the time they had reached home. It was dark and they knew their family would be worried.

Shiva ,aaj jo bhi hua kisiko math batana , Raavi said and Shiva looked at her surprised.

Kyun?. Sab log khush honge na , he asked.

Khush toh honge. But yeh toh surprise hona chaiye. Please Shiva. Ek aur baat, hum jaise pehle the aise pretend karna chaiye , she siad and Shiva looked at her as if she was mad.

Kaunsi surprise?. Tera dimaag kharab hogaya Raavi. Ab hum dono ko saath mein dekhar sawaal toh puchenge. Agar tu mere saath nahi thi toh kaha the ,yeh to zaroor puchenge. Uska kya jawab dunga?

Ohh Shiva,tu kuch zyada hi sochta hai. Hum dono saath mein jaayenge par bohot naraaz lagna chaiye hamara expression. Tab koi hamein kuch bhi nahi puchenge aur yeh bhi samajh aayega ki saath mein aaya ,kaisa laga mera idea.

Tu aur teri kharab ideas. Ab chal, Shiva pushed her slightly so that she would get inside the house.

How rude , she glared at him and started walking while Shiva just followed her.

Dhara saw Shiva and Raavi coming inside together but their faces reflected anger and disappointment.

Tum kaha the itne der Raavi ?. Pata hai main pareshaan hogayi thi , Dhara spoke in worry and Raavi just had a disappointed face.

College mein kuch kaam tha aur time chala gaya yeh mujhe patayi nahi chala. Phir maine Shiva ko phone ki aur bataya ki please mujhe pick up karne aana. Is ne bahut kardi aur mein itna late Shiva ki wajah se hogaya , she whined and Shiva looked at her in shock. She was blaming him by cooking up a fake story?

Shiva glared at her when Dhara was not looking and Raavi winked at him.

Dekh Shiva ,jab tak Raavi iss ghar mein rahega tu uske saath acche se behave karega. Samjha? , Dhara asked him and he nodded his head. He was cursing Raavi in his mind.

Dhara went inside and Shiva looked at Raavi annoyed.

Drama queen ,yeh sab karne ki kya zarurat thi?. Agar sach bata diya toh tera kya ho jata ta?. Gadhedi , Shiva spoke and Raavi smiled at him.

She came closer to him and said , Tu na aaj se mujhse izzat se baat kar. Biwi hoon main teri ,koi naukar nahi hoon.

Shiva looked at her in surprise seeing her authoritative tone. He composed himself and said , Pehle tu mujhe izzat se baat kar ,phir main uske baare mein sochunga. Aur waise bhi bas rishta change hogaya hamara ,aadat nahi.

Shiva moved inside his room and Raavi said quietly , Bhootnath kahinka, yeh kabhi nhi sudhrega.

It was a Sunday morning and Suman had called everyone to the aangan to speak something important. As soon as everyone gathered ,Suman stated.

Maine ek faisla le liya. Ab Shiva aur Raavi ki talaq hone wala hai aur main nahi chahti ki mera beta akele jeeye. Isliye main chahti hoon ki woh dusra shaadi kare.

Everyone's face fell flat hearing that. Shiva saw Raavi looking dejected. Even though she knew Shiva was hers , hearing something like that broke her. Shiva looked at her and assured her through his eyes and that comforted her.

Main koi dusri shaadi nahi karega. Aur yeh baat maine aapse pehle bhi kaha tha Shiva said firmly and Suman looked at him.

Raavi heard this and got shocked. She didn't know that Shiva rejected the idea of a second wedding. Raavi never thought that Shiva would deny his mother.

Tu kab tak akela rahega?. Yeh ladki ko toh zaroor dusri shaadi karegi aur tu brahmachari banega kya , Suman asked and Raavi didn't even like a bit of what she was saying.

Raavi thought it was time to tell everyone everything. She didn't want to mess up with their life again.

Raavi stepped forward and stood near Shiva. He looked at her suprised but she held his hand firmly shocking everybody.

Shiva ka koi dusri shaadi nahi hoga jab tak main zinda hoon. Hum divorce nahi kar raha hai , Raavi spoke and there was a deep dead silence in the aangan.

Ay markundi gai ,yeh tu kya keha rahi hai. Agar talaq nahi chaiye ,phir sign kyu kiya woh papers?. Tu hum sab ko ullu bana rahe ho kya? , Suman was a bit loud and Raavi looked at with a strong determination on her face.

Uske liye aap mujhe blame math kijiye. Yeh Shiva hai na ,isne mujhey gussa dilaya aur us gusse mein sign kiya maine. Main divorce kabhi nahi chahti thi, Raavi said and everybody looked shocked.

Tujhe khush hona chahiye na. Tu yeh shaadi chahti bhi nahi thi aur jab woh tujhey talaq de raha hai ,kyun khush nahi hai tu? Suman asked Raavi and she looked at Shiva for a while.

Use math dekh. Maine pucha aur jawaab mujhe nahi chahiye , Suman said .

Kisne kaha main khush nahi thi iss shaadi mein?. Agar Shiva ne aisa kuch aap se kaha toh aap use puch lijiye kaki. Yeh jo aap ka beta hai na ,woh sab ki acchai chahti hai aur isliye woh sab kuch karta hai taaki sab log khush rahe. Bhagwan ka naam diya hai ise par iska matlab yeh nahi hai ki woh khud bhagwan hai. Usne mujhse bina pooche divorce ka faisla le liye. Aur pata hai kyun?. Kyunki Shiva ko lagta tha main khush nahi thi uske saath aur isi wajah main compromise kar rahi thi. Ab aap hi batao aap ka iss bete ke saath main kya karun ? , Raavi had tears in her eyes when she said that and everyone was beyond shocked to hear that.

Yeh kya keha rahi hai yeh ladki? Shiva ye sacch hai kya ? Suman asked and he simply nodded his head.

Suman asked Shiva to come near her and Shiva went and sat on the ground near to her wheelchair.

Maine socha mere sabse samjhdaar beta tu hai. Tujhe kya hua Shiva?. Suman asked and Shiva looked at her without saying anything.

He hugged her and Suman just caressed his head hugging him tightly.

Aur tu waha kyun khadi hai? Aaja mere paas , Suman gestured raavi towards her who felt emotional hearing that. She ran towards Suman and hugged her.

Everyone felt emotional seeing this and smiled happily.

Raavi and Shiva sat on either side of Suman, who looked at both of them.
She spoke to Raavi, Tu jaanti hai na Shiva kaisa hai. Samajhdar toh hai par kuch zyada hai. Aur agar isne phir koi ghadbad ki toh mujhe aake batana. Main sahi tareeka bataunga isee , she spoke while pinching Shiva's ears.

Maa chod na ,dard ho raha hai , Shiva flinched and Raavi tried to suppress her smile seeing his face.

Dard to tujhe hona chaiye. Kitna takleef diya hum sabko ,Suman said.

Toh tu bhi mujhe kam takleef diya hai kya maa? Kyun shaadi shaadi bolke meri neend kharab kar rahi thi. Kaha na mujhe koi shaadi nahi karni , Shiva said.

Kyunki maine socha agar aisa keha diya toh tu Raavi ko batayegi tera dil ka sacch. Par tu toh gadheda hai, apni dil ki baat kisise share nahi karega , Suman spoke and Raavi looked at Shiva.

Was she saying what she wanted to hear? Did he love her?.

Raavi suddenly spoke , Koi baat nahi hai kaki. Main hoon na ,ab iss bhootnath ko kabhi mujhse chutkara nahi milega.

Shiva looked at her and she smirked at him. Suman smiled looking at her and blessed both of them.

Guys ,I hope I'm not late , Gauri screamed from outside and everyone's attention ran to her.

Raavi smiled at her. She didn't have any reason to be mad at Gauri.

Sabko face dekh ke lag raha hai ki everybody is happy. Aur main yeh kehne aayi hoon ki do din ke baad mein wapas chali jaungi. Mera research khatam hogaya. Aur maine socha hum sab thoda masti karenge. Toh kya keha rahe ho aap log? Gauri looked at everybody questioningly.

Raavi immediately went and hugged her and Shiva was shocked to see that.
Raavi pulled out from the hug and spoke , Tum bas batao kya karna hai. Main saari planning karungi.

Bohot khush lag rahe ho tum aaj , Shiva ne kuch kaha hai kya ,Gauri asked out of curiosity.

Shiva ne bohot kuch kaha hai ,woh main tujhe baat main bataungi , Raavi spoke looking at Shiva and he didn't say anything.

Accha hai ki tum dono ke beech sab kuch teek hogaya. Main toh pehle se hi Shiva se kehe rahi thi ki Raavi se baat karle, par iss idiot meri baat kab sunta hai ? Gauri said and Shiva glared at her.

Tu Gauri ko looks math de Shiva
Woh sahi kehe rahi hai. Tujhe bast karne se allergy hau ,bad mujhe ladna jagadna pasand hai , Raavi said.

Accha , toh main kal tujhse baat nahi kar raha tha kya ? Shiva asked .

Haa par woh toh one in million incident hai, Raavi said and everybody laughed except Shiva.

Shiva got irritated and started walking away. But before he could leave , Gauri held his hand.

Tu gussa math ho. Shayad Raavi sahi keha rahi hai ,par ek baat toh pakka hai ki tum dono ek dusre ke liye bane hai. You guys are match made in heaven , Gauri said and Raavi slightly blushed.

Tu sahi keha rahi hai Gauri. Yeh dono zyada ladte hai par ek dusre ka bohot fikar bhi karta hai ,bas dikata nahi , Dhara said smiling.

Gauri held Shiva's hand and made him stand near Raavi.

Ab perfect lag rahe ho , she said and everybody could only smile at the sight before them.

So Raavi bhoolna math. Hum na kal thoda celebrate karenge with lots of food and fun.Planning tum karoge na , Gauri asked once again for confirmation and Raavi nodded her head.

I hope iss baar tum mujhse gussa nahi karoge like last time. I swear Raavi , Shiva sirf tera hai , Gauri said and Raavi suddenly felt embarassed all of a sudden.

Woh mujhe na kitchen mein kuch kaam hai , Raavi left saying that.

Shiva also escaped saying that he wanted to go to the store. The rest of the family laughed at their antics. Finally everything was falling in place.

Raavi's friends creepy act finally made way for a beautiful conversation. I loved the conversation so much. Both of them expressed their feelings. It was so heart touching❤️ Finally they are now together after all hurdles.

Loved the last part.. this strong denial for the second wedding was something I expected from Shiva in the show but we did not get it. I am so glad Suman is not toxic and is sensible here❤️
