Part 2
It was already two days after that incident and Raavi was avoiding Shiva like plague. She was afraid that she would break down in front of him which would only worsen the situation. They were going to get separated because he was being forced in this relation and she didn't want to do that to him. She wanted him to be happy even if that was without her. She was still hurt with all his accusations but she couldn't open up to anybody. There was nobody who could hear her out. So she thought it was better to pretend.
She tried to immerse herself in studies but was unable to stop herself from getting distracted. It was already a month since she had joined college but even that was not helping her from thinking about Shiva. Many a times ,she felt like talking to him and sharing her feelings but she refrained from it. What if he shouts at her again like that day ? She won't be able to bear the pain anymore.
As she sat in the aangan trying to write down her assignments ,she saw Shiva walking inside with a girl. She looked the age of Raavi and she felt a dread inside her heart. Has she already lost Shiva?. Divorce has not finalised yet and he has already found another girl. Tears filled her eyes and she wiped it before anyone could notice her grief.
Before she could walk away , she saw Dhara greeting the girl with a smile.
Gauri ,kaisi hai tu , Dhara hugged her tightly and Raavi was even more shocked to see that. How on earth did Dhara di know this girl?.
Main bilkul awesome hoon , Dhara di. Aap kaise ho? , Gauri asked and Dhara was all smiles.
Aur Shiva ,main tujhse bohot naraaz hoon. Tune mujhe itne mahino se call nahi kiya. Idiot.. Gauri hit him on his chest and Shiva laughed at that.
Raavi stood a little away from all of them wondering who the girl was. It seems like she already had a good bond with Shiva. She already started feeling jealous and hurt. She thought she was the only girl close to Shiva
but seems like that is not the case.
She didn't want to stand there any further witnessing the closeness between Shiva and Gauri. She was about to leave and that is when Dhara called her.
Raavi ,yeh hai Gauri. Maa ki dost Shanta aunty ki beti, Dhara introduced Gauri to Raavi.
Raavi didn't say anything but just nodded her head and Gauri looked at her in surprise. Raavi didn't feel the need to introduce herself so she left from there saying that she had a lot to study.
Kaisi ladki hai yeh , mujhse baat bhi nahi ki aur aise hi chali gayi. Dhara di ,kaun hai yeh ladki? Gauri spoke annoyed at Raavi's behaviour.
Woh Raavi hai aur.... Dhara didn't know how to introduce Raavi since their divorce was going to happen soon.
So Shiva intervened and said , Woh hamaari mami ki behen ki beti hai, bas bhabhi ko help karne aayi hai.
Accha ,maine socha Dev ki wife hai. Woh aisa behave kar rahi thi ki iss ghar se koi khaas rishta ho, Gauri said and Shiva looked at Dhara.
Dhara didn't say much after hearing what Shiva said. She wanted to introduce her as Shiva's wife but didn't know if it was right to do when Raavi herself said that she was here only for her.
Raavi who heard this from the kitchen suppressed her tears.
Main kabhi jaan nahi paayi ki hamari rishta itna toot chuki hoon , Shiva. Main tere liye koi maine nahi rakhti na. Teek hai ,aage se main bhi tere raaste nahi aaunga. Tu jo chaahe karle ,kisise bhi shaadi karle Raavi told herself and left from there only to see Shiva ,Gauri and Dhara sitting and cracking jokes while sitting in the aangan.

Bhabhi , Gauri achanak kyun aa gayi , Shiva asked Dhara who was sitting in one of the cots.
It was already evening and Krish and Raavi had not yet returned from college.
Uski kuch research work hai, isliye do hafte ke liye aaya hai ,Dhara replied .
Shiva thought whether Gauri's arrival had got to do something with his second marriage. He knew his mother. If she had decided something she would act upon it. But then ,he was also her son. He was also equally stubborn when it came to his decisions. No matter whatever is going to happen ,he was not going to marry again. He can only imagine Raavi as his wife and she cannot be replaced by anyone else.
Woh yaha ruk rahi hai, Shiva asked.
Nahi ,uska friend ka ghar hai, Dhara replied and Shiva sighed in concern.
As they continued talking , Raavi and Krish came from college. Raavi was suprised to see Shiva at home so early. It was so unlikely of him.
Shiva aaj itna early aa gaya ,par kyun. Kahi us Gauri ki wajah se toh nahi , Raavi thought in her mind.
Arey ,raavi. Tu waha khada kyun hai. Andar aana. Main tere liye chai banati hoon, Dhara said.
Nahi Dhara di, uski koi zaroorat nahi hai. Aap rest karlo ,main khud banasakti hoon.
Raavi didn't want to stay there in Shiva's presence. That would only break her heart more.
Shiva looked at her retreating self towards the kitchen and sighed. They don't even talk these days and he felt aloof. They were not the ones who remained silent and it was suffocating him. He was habitual to her constant chattering and not her silence and indifference. He often thought to apologise for his rude ways but never did. He feared that she would forgive him and then compromise herself in this relation which she never wanted.
Shiva , mere liye paani leke aana Dhara told him and he had to go to the kitchen. The least person he wanted to face now was Raavi but he had no choice.
As he approached the kitchen ,he could see that the milk was about to spill but Raavi was still not turning off the flame.
Ay gadhedi , teri dhyaan kaha hai he shouted at her and that is when she become self conscious. She immediately turned off the flame and started pouring the milk into a cup.
Raavi still remained silent and Shiva didnt expect that. He thought she would probably shout at him in the same intensity as that of his.
Her eyes met his for a few seconds but soon she turned her gaze away from him. Considering it best not to talk to her,he went to fetch a glass of water for Dhara and in that process his hands touched hers.
She turned around and looked at him intently and Shiva was unable to break the eyelock. She turned around to leave only to slip in the carpet and Shiva caught her by her waist before she could fall down. She had her hands around his neck and stared at him. Before they could immerse themselves at each other's gaze Dhara called Shiva breaking their eyelock. Shiva straightened her up and left to leave only to stop hearing Raavi's s voice.
Main khud ko sambhalna jaanti hoon, mujhe teri zaroorat nahi hai Shiva.
Shiva got angry and retorted back ,
Dekh maine bas insaniyat dikhayi . Use zyaada kuchh nahi aur tu khudko itna importance dena band kar.
Agar main khudko itna importance diya hoga na ,tho main abhi iss ghar mein nahi hoga. Main apni maasi ki ghar mein hoga , Ravi was quick to snap back.
Haa to kisne waapas bulaya tujhe. Teri zaroorat nahi hai yaha pe. Shiva also made sure that he gave it back to her. After all an angry Shiva Pandya had no control over his saying.
Tujhe nahi hoga,but Dhara di meri behen hai. Isliye jo bhi kar rahi hoon Dhara di ke liye kar rahi hoon , Raavi said.
Dekh ,tere kuch mahine ke liye yaha rukne se kuch khaas nahi honewala. Tu toh jaanewala hai na baad mein , Shiva said in a serious manner but inside his heart ,his own words were paining him.
Raavi couldn't say anything for a second. The hard reality of leaving the house struck her like a lightning and she was blank for a second.
She composed herself and spoke ,
Sirf ghar chodke jaa rahi hoon, rishta todke nahi. Aur tujhe meri cheezon mein interfere karne ki zaroorat nahi hai.
Mujhe koi interest nahi hai teri cheezon mein. Mujhe aur bohot cheez hain sochne ke liye , Shiva said.
Offcourse hoga. Tu yahi soch raha hoga ki mujhe divorce karke dusri shaadi kaise karte hai. Shayad tu uski planning kar rahi hogi , Raavi spoke,clearly annoyed.
Shiva was shocked to hear what Raavi said. Now where did the whole marriage thing come from?
Tu pagal hai kya ,main dusri shaadi kyun karungi , he asked confused.
Kyun nahi karungi. Waise bhi tujhe zindagi bhar Brahmchari banne ka irada hai kya , Raavi tried to make fun of him and he got irritated.
Haa banunga brahmachari. Mujhe ek aur chudail ko bardaash nahi karna. Waise bhi mujhe shaadi karne ka koi plan nahi tha. Teri aur Dev ki wajah se phas chuki hoon main.
Raavi got hurt when Shiva said he was trapped in their marriage. But she couldn't get emotional so to cover it up she said , Toh main kya apni marzi se shaadi ki tujhe?. Sab logo ne mujhe bhi phasaya. Waise tujhe khush hone chaiye ki hamara talak honewala hai. Milega tujhe chutkara mujhse , she spoke the last sentence with a tinge of sadness but Shiva didn't seem to notice it.
Tujhe bhi mujh jaise jaahil junglee gawaar se chutkara milega. Kaunsi khaas pasand karti ti tu mujhe ,Shiva spoke emotionally looking at Raavi.
He had had enough of talking to Raavi. Shiva left the kitchen taking water for Dhara and Raavi quietly watched his retreating self. His last sentences were confusing her. What did he mean by that ? Even he didn't like her right or atleast that was what she had thought. She could never understand Shiva Pandya and his emotions. This guy was even more complex than a maths problem. She knew that there was something that she was missing. She needed to find it before it was too late. Did Shiva really dislike her or was it just a pretense?.
