But from what I see it's all about money and sponsorship.the award function organisers want more and more celebrities to attend their function so that it gets the media hype and attention.some actors want awards for their own publicity and ego boost.so it's a win win for both.actors who come from a humble background can never win such awards.

There are some genuine actors too but mostly it's all about contacts and money.
