In the OG Krish doesn't get arrested for this. He only gets slapped and Kathir (Shiva) slaps Janu back, Meena gets angry and fights with Kathir and berates him.

This happened in the initial days of their marriage.

Krish's character gets arrested for a different reason for no fault of his when all the 3 brothers and SIL's come together to get him acquitted.

Yes it was a cheek kiss, Dhara was caught unawares like the Panipuri eating contest day😆 Could it be anything else in ITV. NO, Janu in the OG is much decent than this sasta 80s villain. Janu in the OG only wanted to destroy their business and nothing else. He never bothered the ladies and he didn't take his revenge only on Gautam and Shiva, his own SIL was given a hard time. Jeeva is nothing like Dev here. He can very well manage his own FIL doesn't need Murthy or Kathir's help.
