Dhara hold over finance

I think today Rishita was right and dhara was wrong. Why she has all the money. They have to literally beg her for the money. It is so humiliating. Right now neither dev nor shiva has children only wives who has not ask money from dhara. When they have kids they have to ask money from dhara for their kids as well. It is so disturbing 😳

i have never lived in joint family so I have no idea how things work over there.

But i live with my parents still I don’t have to ask money from them for small things. If i want to do some shopping, buy some clothes i can just go and buy. So how come brothers working but not getting any money.

Agree with you. Plus I wish she had additional dialogues of how all brothers work in the store and they should all have rights to money and how to spend on it. And if she wants to continue to control it then she'll get a job.

Unfortunately, the way they twisted this situation as something good comes out of Dhara's mishaps, will never make Dhara or others realize this issue at hand. If anything, Dhara took away credit for her job🤷🏽‍♀️😡

The haveli track where rishita saved everyone, they totally forgot how dhara emotionally blackmailed them to not tell suman about anything.

I agree with you. The Pandyas handling of finances is outdated and preposterous to say the least

In the OG they eventually solved this issue by Gautam creating separate bank accounts for Shiva and Dev and depositing money in there every month. He also got Shiva and Dev to give some monthly allowance to their wives

However it took nearly two years for them to resolve this issue in the OG 😆

In the version I watched, the brothers were told to take money from shop income for their expenses. Shiva used to give money to Raavi from the very next day of their marriage, without her asking for it. So she didn't have any money issues. And Dev acted like a total idiot and didn't give money to Rishita. This caused problems. Eventually Gautam created separate bank accounts for the brothers. Hindi version Dhara is way too controlling. And their outlook is very outdated.
