We also celebrate both with lot of fanfare and Dusshera also. I do continue the tradition in a small scale here as well but this year we can’t because of my FIL’s death in March. Per our tradition we cannot do any festival until his anniversary as my husband did the last rights.

It's same for us. But I think the priest here told us that because we did some Vidhi after the death (I think it's for the 12th day) representing each of those months, we can celebrate it. But yeah, for us this year, it's limited to just fasting and small Pooja session.

But my mom chooses to wait a year before celebrating anything.

I am not interested in tomorrow's episode. I am sure krutika will perform very well in that scene but problem is makers are using sensitive issue like this only for drama purpose. This will either lead to Raavi coming back or oily entering pandya niwas. Last time also Suman's suicide drama was cringeworthy and trps also decreased that week.

Actually, the TRPs for that released the following week and that track received TRO of 2.1 or 2.0. 😢
