PART- 2
It has been a week since the separation.shiva was getting engrossed in work,he was given charge to supervise the construction of the new branch of Pandya store by gombi.raavi was trying to get her mind off shiva.she joined a online course.she tutored small kids of the colony in the evenings.but nothing seemed to work.the moment they were free,the memories crept in again.

She entered the pandya house after a long gap.the last time she was here was years ago.she was wearing a simple Yellow suit.she had long curly locks.she had big brown lively eyes with a hint of mischief in them.
" Pranam kaki " radhika greeted suman with a smile.
" Jeeti reh beta " suman blessed her.
"Shivaa.idhar aa aur radhika ka samaan apne kamre mai rakh de .tu kuch din aangan mai so jaana." Suman ordered.
Shiva just nodded and went forward to pick the suitcase.
Before radhika could even say hii, he went away.she frowned a bit.this boy has not at all changed.when she came to pandya house in her childhood, he wouldn't spare a glance at her.she had tried to forge a friendship with him but he couldn't care less.
She followed him into the room.she looked around.
" Whao, kitni sundar chudiyan..." She was about to touch the bangles when she was rudely interrupted.
" Woh raavi ke hai " shiva said in a loud voice.
She was a bit stunned and looked at him confused.
Shiva was also surprised at himself, why did he say so ? But whatever the reason, he didn't want some random girl touching his raavi's bangles.wait.she wasn't his raavi anymore.
He went away hastily before radhika saw the unshed tears in his eyes.
She looked at his retreating figure confused.
After getting fresh radhika came out and sat besides shiva who was sitting in a cot.
" Hii.mera naam radhika hai." She introduced herself as she was unsure if shiva even remembered her.
Shiva just nodded and got back to seeing the stores hisaab.
" Mera naam Krish hai " Krish said forcing a smile sitting in between shiva and this girl who was thinking of taking the place of his raavi bhabi.
Radhika smiled uncomfortably.
" Accha shiva chal.mujhe tujhse kuch kaam hai " Krish dragged shiva away as radhika looked on.

"Kya? " Raavi said in disbelief.
" Hann bhabi.shiva se aise chipak rahi hai ki pucho mat.mujhe to uske irade bilkul nek nahi lag rahe hai." Krish said to raavi adding mirch masala.
" Chipak rahi hai? " Raavi said angrily.how dare she? Only she is his bhootnath's chipkali.
"Aur shiva?" She asked dreading the response.
" Abhi ke liye to mai use door rakh raha hu.par kab tak bhabi? Akhir ek sundar ,susheel ladki se..." Krish said dramatically
" Sundar? " Raavi gasped.
" Mujhse bhi zyada sundar ?" She asked
" Yeh aap kya puch rahi ho bhabi? Par aapse kya chupana.sundar to hai." Krish said smirking.he was annoyed at first with radhika, but sensing raavi's jealousy, maybe she had come in at the perfect time.
Raavi disconnected the phone angrily.
" Gadheda, bhootnath.samajhta kya hai apne aap ko? Yahaan mai roye jaa rahi hu din raat aur woh ladkiyon se mil raha hai." She said to herself.
She remembered his words.
Na tere aane ki khusi , na tere jane ka gam.
" Kya tujhe sach mai mere hone ya na hone se koi fark nahi padta shiva? " She said sadly.

Maasi has been pestering her to meet mayank.she was tired of saying no.but after she heard about shiva meeting radhika, she was angry .if he can meet new people, why can't she?
So she decided to get out of her self pity mode and meet this guy.

" Chai " radhika offered tea to shiva who was sitting on the verandah if the House.
He just shook his head.
"Kya tumhe coffee pasand hai? Mai banake lau? " She asked unsure.
Shiva closed his eyes and took a deep breath.whatever his issues are ,he can't keep this girl in the dark.he knew the pain of rejection, and nobody deserved to go through it.he signed radhika to sit besides him.
" Dekho Radhika.mujhe nahi pata tumse kisne kya kaha hai.par mai abhi kisi bhi naye rishte ke liye taiyar nahi hu.isliye behtar yahi hoga ki tum mujhse koi umeed mat rakho." He said getting straight to the point.
" Abhi taiyar nahi ho. Par kabhi na kabhi to hoge.kab tak ateet ke saaye mai jeete rahoge?" She asked.
" Iska jawab mai tumhe dena zaroori nahi smajhta "he said and got upto leave.
" Ruko " radhika said and got up.
" Mai tumhari bahut izzat karti hu shiva.bachpan se jis tarah tumne mushkil waqt mai apne parivaar ko sambhala, apne bhaiyon ki takaat bane, sab jaanti hu mai.isliye jab chachi ne rishte ki baat ki , mai tumse milne ke liye taiyar ho gayi.mai itni dur se ayi hu, atleast tum mujhe apni zindagi ka ek din to de sakte ho.agar shyam tak bhi tumhara irada yehi raha, to mai chup chap chali jaungi.aur gharwalo ko bhiii batana asaan ho jayega.ki puraa din ek saath bitane ke baad bhi hum connect nahi kar paye " she said hopefully.
Shiva looked at her unsure.but she was right.maa won't budge unless she makes him go out with her.so it's better that he takes her out somewhere, pretends to try and then say no to the family.
He just nodded.

Raavi got ready wearing a green suit.anita told her to put some make up but she didn't want to.she just changed into her dress and was ready to go.
" Yeh kya hai? Tu apne rishte ki baat karne sindoor aur mangalsutra pehenke jayegi? " Maasi asked shocked.
" Use to pata hai na ki mera divorce finalise nahi hua.mai abhi bhi shiva ki patni hu.yeh jaante huye woh mujhse mil raha hai.to use iss sindoor aur mangalsutra se koi problem nahi honi chahiye" She said and left the house.
She didn't have the heart to remove her marital signs.somewhere deep down she feared that what if something happened to shiva if she removed them?
She knew it was stupid and superstitious but she just let it be.
Raavi was getting cold feet outside the coffe shop.she was suddenly regretting ger decision of coming here.
" Mujhse nahi hoga " she muttered to herself and turned to leave .
" Raavi." A voice called out to her.
She had no option now.she sighed and turned to look the source of the voice.
" Hii.mayank " he extended his hands.
Raavi just nodded.
She took his hand back reluctantly.
" Andar chale " he said.
Raavi followed him silently.
They both sat at the opposite ends of a round table.
Mayank was eyeing her mangalsutra.
Raavi just turned to the other side.
" I know.tumhari abhi abhi shaadi tooti hai.you need some time.its ok.i understand." He assured her.
Raavi again nodded.
" Waise tum baat to karti ho na? " He asked.
" Hann? " She asked confused.
" Nahi matlab jabse hum aye hai tumne ek shabd bhi nahi kaha, to.." he said
" Wohh, I am sorry " she said
" No problem.mai kuch order karta hu " Mayank said.
He ordered coffee and sandwiches for them.
He went on talking about his job, his hobbies, his house in Mumbai, his lifestyle.everything.
Raavi was least interested.
She was eating her sandwiches which was too spicy.mayank offered her coldrinks which he was drinking.raavi suddenly remembered her bickering with shiva when they were returning to somnath.how she sneakily drank his cold drinks and got caught.a small smile crept on her face.
" Chalo, kam se kam tum hasi to sahi " Mayank said.
Raavi's trance was broken.
What was she doing? Here she was sitting with a man who is interested in marrying her and all she could think about was shiva.this is so wrong.she felt as if she was betraying shiva.she needed to get out of here.
"Mujhe Ghar Jaana hai.meri tabiyat kuch thk nahi lag rahi. " she said.
"Kyu? Achanak kya hua? Mai drop kar deta hu " Mayank offered
" nahi, mai chali jaungi.thank you " raavi said and hurriedly left .
On her walk home she felt a surge of emotions within.she wanted to leave everything behind .the pandya house , shiva, everyone.but it was getting more difficult than she thought.she had forgotten dev within days after getting married to shiva.yes.she forgot the love of her life within days.why can't she get shiva out of her mind? Why is he affecting her so much? She was sitting with a guy who was perfect.well educated, decent, sophisticated. someone who any girl would be happy to marry.then why did she not want to even spare a glance at him? Just being with anyone other than shiva felt so wrong. The thought of any other guy coming near her made her cringe.she tried to shrug away all the thoughts about shiva and walk home.

Shiva took radhika to a nearby mela. She went to look at a few bangles and asked for his opinion.shiva just nodded.
Radhika went on talking about her childhood, school , friends. Her hobbies. Shiva simply accompanied her and paid for some things she bought out if courtesy.
She asked shiva if he wanted to buy anything.he just shook his head.they had lunch at a popular restaurant.
" Tumhari favourite dish kya hai? " She asked.
" Jo bji bhabi ya raavi bana de..." He stopped midway.
Radhika noticed his discomfort and changed the topic.they ate their food in silence.
It was almost dusk.the day was coming to end.
Shiva was walking ahead.
Radhika was trying to catch up with him.
" Shiva.ek minute.bina turn kiye mujhe yeh batao ki maine kaun si colour ki dresss pehni hai? " She asked.
Shiva stopped.he didn't know.he actually hadn't even noticed.
" Woh..maine dhyaan nahi diya " he said.
Radhika sighed.she came in front of him.he looked at her blue salwar.
" Blue " he replied feeling a bit guilty
" Aaj pure din tumhare saath thi.mujhse baat karna to door, mujhe ek baar bhi thk dekha tak nahi Tumne. Bahut pyar karte ho na use?" She asked
Shiva took a deep breath.
"Kya farq padta hai ? I am sorry ki tumhe inn sab mai involve hona pada. " He said.
Radhika shook his head.
"Tum kyu maafi maang rahe ho? Tumne to sab kuch pehle hi clear kar diya tha.maine hi zidd ki tumhare saath ane ki. Mujhe yeh bataya gaya tha ki tumhari zabardasti shaadi huyi thi aur tum dono isliye alag huye kyuki tum usse nafrat karte ho.par baat to kuch aur hi hai. Tumhari wife ko pata to hai na.ki tum use chahte ho? " She asked.
Shiva just shook his head.
" Kya ? Bataya kyu nahi? " She asked.
Shiva was not comfortable sharing his feelings with anyone.he didn't even say anything to his family.radhika was still a stranger to him.
Radhika sensed his discomfort.
" Kabhi kabhi ajnabee se baatein karna accha hota hai.tum mujhe bata sakte ho." She assured him.
" Bas haalat kuch aise bane ki mujhe laga woh mere bina zyada khush rahegi.mai woh hu hi nahi jo ise chahiye " shiva said.
" Aur yeh baat tumhe usne kaha? " Radhika asked.
" Raavi " he said.
" Kya? " She looked confused.
" Raavi naam hai uska " he gently clarified.
Radhika smiled
" Raavi ne khud kaha tumse ki woh tumhara saath khush nahi haii? " She asked further.
" Har baat kehna zaroori nahi hota.kuch cheezein samjhi jaati hai. " He said
" Par agar tumne galat samajh liya ho to? Kya galatfehmi mai rishte todna sahi hai? Kya pata tumhara yaha jaisa haal hai, raavi ka bhi aisa ho? Kya pata woh bhi tumhe itnaa miss kar rahi ho.? " Radhika said.
Shiva went into deep thought listening to her.was she pained by this separation? Her hands were shivering while signing the divorce papers.he shrugged off all the thoughts and they went home.

"Kyaa? Pura din us chudail ke saath tha ? " Raavi said.
" Hann bhabi. Aur chudail mar kaho unhe.kya pata kal woh meri bhabi ban jaye " Krish said trying hard to control his laughter.
" Tu mujhe itni jaldi bhul gayaa krish ?" She said
" Are aap bhi naa. Mai to bas mazaak kar raha tha.aap tension mat lo.aaj mera clg tha isliye mai dhyan nahi de paya.par kal se weekend hai.mai aapko sare updates deta rahunga " he said.
" Sirf updates dene se kya hoga Krish? Use dur Rakh shiva se " raavi said angrily
" Woh mai dekh lunga. Par aap ek baat bataiye.aapko itna farq kyu pad raha hai? " He asked
" Aisa..aisa kuch nahi hai. Mujhe woh ladki thik nahi lagti.mai nahi chahti ki woh pandya parivaar mai aye aur problems create kare " raavi fumbled and cut the phone.
Krish just smiled.
" Kab tak dhara bhabi aur parivaar ka bahana dete rahoge. Kabhi na kabhi to apni mann ki baat kehni padegi aao dono ko ".
" Gadheda.aaj tak mujhe ek baar bhi shopping pe nahi lekar gaya aur woh kal ki aayi ladki ko mela ghuma raha hai. Yahaan mai aadhe ghante bhi us Mayank ke saath nahi reh payi aur woh Pura din us chudail ke saath bahaar tha " raavi said beating her pillow to take out her frustration.

" Walk ke liye? Iss waqt? Yeh aap kya keh rahe ho maasi ? " She stared at her in disbelief.
Mayank had come to stay in their house citing that there was some problem with his hotel check in.maasi had gladly welcomed him.raavi was not liking this guy.didnt he get the hint that she was not interested? Why couldn't he just go and see other girls?
" Hann. Ab dinner ke baad walk karna to sehat ke liye accha hota hai na.aur iss bahane dono thoda waqt bhi guzaar loge " maasi said.
Raavi just shook her head.maasi was trying too hard.why she couldn't just let her be?
Raavi reluctantly went ahead.
They were walking silently.
" Waise tum bura na maano to ek baat puchu? " Mayank said.
" Hmm " raavi said
" Tumhari shaadi zabardasti huyi thi na? I mean maine suna ki kaise tumhare sasuraal walo ne tumhe emotionally manipulate karke unke nalayak bete ke gale baandh diya " he said.
" Aisa kuch nahi hai.iss shaadi mai meri bhi marzi thi.aur shiva nalayak nahi hai.bahut mehnati hai.infact saare bhaiyon mai se sabse mehnat ka kaam shiva karta hai " she said furiously.
" Ohh.lagta hai mujhe misinformation mili hai. Agar sab sahi hai to talaak kyu ho raha hai? " Mayank asked surprised.
"Woh mera personal matter hai " raavi said.
" Accha thk hai.mujhe koi farq nahi padta ki tumahara rishta kyu tut raha hai.par mujhe ek cheez jaanna hai " Mayank said
" Kya? " Raavi asked
" Tum shiva ke saath physically Intimate thi? Like did you do it? Ya phir just some kisses and..." He was interrupted by raavi.
" Yeh kaisa wahiyaad sawal hai? "
" Come on raavi.aise bhi kya react karna?.bahut practical sawaal hai.i need to know this as you are going to be my wife.agar iska jawab naa hai to we can think of going ahead " Mayank said casually.
" Bass." Raavi said.
" Mujhe tumhare saath koi rishta nahi rakhna.chale jao yahaan se " she said
Mayank got angry now.
He pulled her roughly holding her hands.
" Yeh attitude na kisi aur ko dikhana.ek to mujh jaisa ladka tujhe bhao de raha hai aur tu aise behave kar rahi hai.you should be thankful. Ek shaadi tut rahi hai, yahaan mere saath adhi Raat ko ghum rahi hai.aur tujhe kya lagta hai mujhe pata nahi tera pati tujhe kyu chod raha hai? Apne clg ke doston ke saath bhi aiyashi karti hai na tu?.woh to teri maasi ne itni binti ki to mujhe laga let's give you a chance kyuki main tujhe Pasand karta tha, but I was so wrong. " Mayank said angrily.
Raavi slapped him angrily.
How dare he say such cheap things to her ?
She felt disgusted at his words.
Mayank looked on angrily.
" How dare you? " Mayank said in a dangerous tone.
" How dare you? Tumhari himmat kaise huyi mujhse iss tarah se baat karne ki? Nahi chahiye tumhara ehsaan.or tumhe kya lagta hai? Sirf acche kapde pehenne se, degree hone se koi gentleman ban jaata hai? Nahi mayank.uske liye saaf niyat aur uchi soch ki zaroorat hai.aur tumhari soch kitni giri huyi hai, yeh mai dekh chuki hu." She said angrily.
Mayank twisted her hand.
" Yeh thappad tujhe bahut mehenga padega.bahut acchi tarah jaanta hu mai tujh jaisi ladkiyo ko.baahar se kuch aur anadar se kuch aur. " He said coming dangerously close to her face .
Raavi jerked his hands off and tried to run but he held her dupatta and pulled it ripping her sleeve in the process.
She looked shocked at him.
She had actually thought he is a decent guy.how can she be so terrible at judging people? The only name that was coming to her mind was shiva.
She just wanted to run to him.she just wanted to reach her safe heaven.
Mayank pulled her closer holding her by the hair.
Raavi winced in pain.
" Tujhe kya laga? Tu ladki hai to thappad maar ke chali jayegi aur mai chup chaap dekhta rahunga? " He said.
Mayank left her hair and slapped her.she fell to the ground with the effect of the force.
Raavi told herself to be strong.got up and threw a handful of sand into his eyes and ran away as fast as she could.

Shiva's phone rang and he was surprised to see raavi's name.she never called him in the past week.
He looked at the clock.it was close to 11.was she ok?
He quickly picked up the phone.
" Shiva..." She said, her voice trembling.
" Raavi.tu thk to hai? Kahaan hai tu? " He panicked.something was wrong.
" Please mujhe lene aaja. Please please please." She cried on the phone.
Shiva was already on his way, putting his shirt on and grabbing his keys.
" Mai abhi aa raha hu.tu ghabra mat.kahaan hai tu? " He asked
" Store ke paas " she said
Shiva reached the store as fast as he could.he saw raavi sitting near the shutter in a side, her knees were close to her chest and she was crying badly.
Raavi looked up to see shiva and ran to him and hugged him.
Shiva was shocked to see her in such a state.her sleeve was ripped, there was a tinge of blood in the corner of her mouth and she was crying badly.
Shiva held her in his arms, stroking her head trying to comfort her.
Who did this? What was she doing out all alone at this time of the night?
" Raavi, kisne kiya hai ? " He asked pulling her away from the hug and holding her cheeks.
Raavi hugged him again.she just wanted to feel safe now, she wanted the comfort he always provided her.the questions could wait.
" Please kuch mat puch.bas mere saath reh.mere paas reh shiva " she said almost in a pleading tone.
Shivas heart broke seeing her in such a condition.he can't tolerate tears in her eyes, especially if someone else was the cause of those.who ha dared to touch her?he wanted to find out and teach that person a lesson, but he calmed himself seeing her condition.she needed him now. He just held her silently.
After some time raavi calmed down.shiva opened the store and took her inside.he made her drink some water.he took off her shirt and covered her with it.
Raavi just looked on at him with admiration in her eyes.
This man came running to her within minutes when she asked him to, irrespective of whatever the situation was between them.
" Ae maamikibehenkibeti, ghur kya rahi hai ? Khayegi kya ? " Shiva said trying to lighten her mood.he liked her smiling, he liked her fiery and fighting but this defeated and crying raavi makes him very uncomfortable.
Raavi laughed amidst her tears.
Shiva brought out the first aid box and applied savlon slowly to the corner of her mouth blowing on it slowly.raavi closed her eyes.her cheeks were swollen.
Someone had dared to raise a hand at her and he needed to know who.
" Kisne kiya yeh raavi? " Shiva asked, his eyes filled with fury.
