Cinderella was my favorite Disney movie as a child, but as I grew older, I realized just how problematic it was. @bold, was one of the reasons I started hating Cinderella and it's many re-tellings with the exception of those where Cinderella is best friends with Prince Charming before. I also loved the movie on Youtube (it's free btw) "Not Cinderella's Type" where Prince Charming is more focused on the mental health aspects of Cinderella's life (making sure she has a home, feels well loved, and supports her dreams) before pursuing a romantic relationship with her.

On the flip side, though, I love Disney male leads that receive attention and a wonderful backstory like the Beast, Shang, Flynn Rider, Prince Naveen
