Raavi was frustrated with shivas ignorance.he can fight with her, scold her,irritate the hell out of her but how dare he ignore her? She went to the terrace to get some fresh air when she saw rishita.
She was excitedly Chatting away with someone on the phone.in the last few days she had grown closer to rishita,she had understood her past and her equation with Dev. She had thought it will always be awkward for them, but strangely they were getting along really well.not exactly friends but they were getting there.
Rishita saw raavi and came rushing to her with a twinkle in her eyes.
" Raavi, meri bachpan ki friend aa rahi hai mumbai se.mai itne saal baad usse mil rahi hu.i am so excited.tum bhi chalo ma mere Saath " she said
" Par rishita, Tumhare doston ke beech Mai kya karungi." Raavi said unsure.
"Aree tumhe woh bahut acchi lagegi.woh mujhse bhi zyada dhamakedaar hai.aur waise bhi shiva to hai nahi,aur hum kitne Dino se Kahi bahaar Nahi gaye.bas ghar, Dukaan, mandir.mai to thak chuki hu " rishita said making a face.
Raavi thought a little.it was a good idea.maybe this can get her mind off that Bandar.
She nodded and rishita gave her a hug.
" Hum Kahan jayenge? Aur kab jayenge? Der Raat tak hum bahaar Nahi reh sakte .dhara bhabi se puchna padega na? " Raavi went on blabbering.
" Are are raavi.saans to lelo.tumhara aaj bas ek hi kaam hai.acche se ready hona.baaki Sab tum mujhpe chod do." She said giving her a wink.
What's on her mind?
Rishita asked dhara if she could take raavi with her for a meeting with friends.she happilly agreed.the girls were bonding.what more could she want?
" Yeh kapde pehen le " rishita said handing her a black gown.it was full length gown with a side slit upto the knee.it was sleeveless.
Raavi's eyes widened seeing the dress.
" Mai yeh pehenke Nahi jaa Sakti Rishita" she said.
" Kyu? Yeh to full length gown hai raavi.tum sleeveless suits to pehenti ho na, to sleeveless gown Mai kya problem hai? Sirf isliye ki yeh Western hai? Achaa..ek kaam Karna, Ghar se nikalte waqt scarf daal dena aur wahan jaake Nikal dena .ok? " Rishita tried to convince her.
Raavi looked at the dress.it was beautiful, and it was not that exposing either.she had always wanted to wear such dresses but never got a chance.
Rishita selectee a red knee length one piece for herself.
They both put on light make up and were ready.
Rishita held raavis hands and they both tiptoed out when noone was watching.raavi was excited for today.it had been days since she had had some fun.
Rishita had hired a taxi.They went to the outskirts of the town.
" Hum Somnath se bahaar kyu jaa rahe hai?" Raavi questioned.
" Woh tujhe thodi Der Mai pata chal Jayega" rishita assured her with a wink.
They stopped outside a pub.
Rishita saw her friends outside and hugged them.
" Hi ..I am seema " a sweet looking girl hugged raavi.
" Mera naam archita hai " another girl greeted her.
They all went inside.raavis eyes widened seeing the ambience.it was dark,the music was on, people were dancing.it was like what she saw in the movies.she has never been to duch places.
"Rishita..yeh jagahh.." she said only to be stoooed by her.
" Bahut safe hai.yeh pub mere papa Ka hai.mai security guard se lekar manager tak sabko jaanti hu.hum yahan par enjoy karenge phir jis taxi se aye hai ,usi taxi se wapas jayenge .tujhe Lagta hai Mai Teri safety compromise karungi raavi? "Rishita said patting her cheeks.
She was growing comfortable gradually.she got along with rishita's friends friends like a house on fire .it had been ages since she had a heart to heart girls talk.they talked about everything under the sun.fashion, movies, guys..what not?
Raavi didnt remember the last time she had laughed so much.
The shots came in.the theree girls finished it in one go.
Raavi was reluctant.she had never drank before.
"Soch kya rahi hai raavi, aaj thoda jee le.tujhe Ghar pahunchane ki zimmdari meri." Rishita said handing her over a shot.
" Tum Dev se kya kahogi rishita? " Raavi asked looking unsure.
" Are Dev ko pata hai Mai Kabhi Kabhi piti hu.infact dev aur Maine Kain Baar clg parties Mai drink Kiya hai.aur waise bhi aaj Raat woh bhi Kisi dost se Milne janewala tha.aaj Pura Ghar bas hum ladies Ka " she said
" Aur dhara bhabi ne Jaan liya to? Bahut dande padenge." Raavi said scared
" Tu Kitna tension leti hai raavi.mai Hu na.tu bas yeh gatak jaa.woh shiva pi sakta hai to Tu kyu Nahi?" She encouraged her.
This hit raavi.if that Bandar could come home drunk in her presence, then she can definitely drink in his absence.
She took the shot in one go while the others cheered.
Then there was no stopping, they drank, they danced like noone was watching them.
" Waise yeh bata rishita.dev ke Saath tera Kaisa chal Raha hai? Abhi to tera honeymoon phase chal Raha Hoga na." Seema asked her winking.
" Khaak honeymoon phase chal Raha hai.usko bas duniya Mai do cheezon se matlab hai.apni bhabi ke haath Ka khaana aur Sona " rishita said taking another shot in disappointment.
They giggled at her.
" Waise raavi, yeh shiva hai bada hot.biceps dekh bande ki " seema showed the photo to archita who agreed.
" Hann na, bilkul taka tak desi mard vibes deta hai " archita joined in.
Raavi's eyes widened listening to them.
Hot and her bhootnath?.he did have a nice body though.she imagined the time when she had seen him shirtless and blushed.
" Waise body to acchi hai uski.jab Mai bathtub Mai Giri thi na..." Raavi continued only to earn a gasp from Rishita.
"Bathtub Mai? How romantic.yeh Dev ke to bistar Mai bhi kitne nakhre hai .bhaiya ek aur shot dijiye " Rishita whined
" Aree rishita sunoo to...jab woh apni takat dikhata hai na..." Raavi said remembering him cutting the woods.
" Takat? Takat ki to tum Baat hi mat Karo raavi " she drank another peg.
Everyone giggled .
Raavi shook her head trying to explain her what she was going to say, but she was in no mood to listen.
They continued their conversation.in all this they forgot to keep track of time.it was 11 PM.
PANDYA NIWAS
Shiva was pacing up and down the angan restlessly.he was home alone today.the work was finished early and they returned.gombi and dhara bhabi had gone to hardik's house for the night.krish and Dev were with their friends.maa had gone to janta maami's house for satsang.
Apparently everyone had a plan except him.
"Yeh chipkali aur bhabi abhi tak aye kyu Nahi? " Itni Raat ho gayi hai.phone bhi Nahi utha rahe hai."
He was worried.
He heard a commotion near the window.
" Kaun hai? " He went to see only to get the shock of his life.
Raavi and rishita were barely able to walk.they were supporting each other and had finger on their lips.they were drunk!
" Raavi? Rishita bhabi? Aap logo aise? Sab thk hai na." His first reaction was worry.did someone spike their drink? Was everything fine?
" Aree thk kyu nahi honge. Hum to mastt hai.itni acchi party thi " rishita twirled.
Shiva looked at raavi from top to bottom.he had never seen her in a western dress.she looked beautiful.she came forward looking confused and touched his nose.
" Tu sach Mai hai kya? " She Said stumbling a bit
" Nahi..Mera bhoot hai." He steadied raavi glaring at her.
"Ssshhh ...dhara bhabi jaag jayegi.chup chap chal raavi" rishita said closing raavi's mouth.
Shiva rolled his eyes looking at their antics.dev was not at home .he had to take care of rihsita bhabi as well.
Shiva held raavi by the waist with one hand and supported rishita by the shoulder with the other and started walking.
" Chaliye bhabi.apne kamre Mai jaake so jaiye " he said.
They reached rishita's room.he made her sleep on the bed.raavi removed her shoes and put the blanket on her.
She hugged her.
" Thankk you rishita.mujjhee aaj bahutt mazaa ayaa. Hum phirse challenge" she said kissing her cheek.
" Ae chipkali . Ek Baar kaafi hai samjhi. Chal ab yahaan se." He said pulling her away
Rishita sat up on the bed.
" Kyu? Hum phirse jayenge. Tu usse baandh ke Nahi Rakh sakta. Bandhne se Yaad aya.kya Kaha tha tune Dev se use din? Ki woh mere pair bandhke rakhe.mujhe neend Mai chalne ki beemari hai ? Dev ko na aise koi shauk Nahi hai.par tera mujhe pata nahi.bathtub and all hann." She said grinning.
Shiva was shocked.he looked at raavi glaring at her whose mouth had formed a o and eyes had widened.she signalled rishita to stop.
This is in no way an appropriate conversation he should be having with his bhabi.he made rishita lie down and switched off the lights.
"Ab aap chup chap soyegi.thk hai? " He said while rishita obliged and closed her eyes.
Shiva sighed.now he had to manage his chipkali.he held her and dragged her out of the room.
" Zara Saa jhoom Lu main..." Raavi was twirling around happily.
" Kuch zyada Nahi jhoom gayi Tu aaj ke liye? " Shiva said irritated and held her again.
She poked his chest with a finger .
" Tu mujhse jal Raha hai.tune woh desii daaru pi aur Maine ekdum style Mai shots maare " she said giggling.
" Jalkukda" she showed her tongue and ran around the house.
" Raavi...dekh ke...gir jayegi " he said running behind her and caught up.
He looked at her sternly and took her to the room holding her hand.
He tried to make her lie down but she held onto his collar and they both fell down on the bed.
Raavi looked at him dreamily.
Shiva observed her closely .she was looking ethereal with the light make up and moonlight shining on her face.why did she have to be so pretty? Only he knew how difficult it was to stay away from her. These new found feelings were creating havoc within him.he felt disgusted with him sometimes when he was aroused by her innocent touches.she was soo close to him, she was his wife yet they were so far from each other.raavi traced his biceps slowly.
" Tu bahut Hott hai shiva." She whispered
Did he hear correctly? Did his maamikibehenkibeti just call him hot?
" Kya?" He asked to reconfirm.
" Aisa Seema ne Kaha.waise Dekha Jaye to Sahi Kaha usne. Tu hot to hai " she said
This was the first time she was praising him, even if it was in her drunk state.he got greedy for more.
" Accha? Aur kya kya hu Mai? " He asked
" Tu bahuttt strong hai.chattan pandya.tu hamesha mujhe protect karta hai .mujhpe Kabhi koi aanch Nahi ane deta.agar yeh Teri nafrat hai to pata nahi tera pyar Kaisa Hoga?" She said with tears in her eyes.
"Raavi..." He softened seeing her tears and was going to wipe them when she shoved his hand away.
" Gussa hu Mai tujhse.kattii.kitna ignore Kiya tune mujhe in do hafton mai.kya galti thi meri? Woh bhi use Sneha ki bacchi ke liye.accha hua Maine uska number delete Kar diya.kitna sunaya Maine usko.nahi, mujhe na Uske daant Tod dene chahiye the.aise kaise keh Sakti woh mere pati ke baare Mai? " She said angrily.
SHe broke her friendship for him? She defended him? He felt so happy knowing this.her pati.he was hers.
She extended her hands to her side of the bed under the pillow and took out a piece of paper.
" Jala Di Maine woh diary, Apne ateet ke saare panne.bas yeh kagaz Ka Tukda sambhal ke rakha hai." She said handing it to him.
Shiva saw the piece of paper with his name on it and smiled through his tears.
" Nafrat Ka hi sahi.ek shiddat bhara rishta to tha humara.tune woh bhi Tod Diya? Jis dor ko thamkar Mai Zindagi dobara jeene ki kosish Kar rahi thi, us dor ko kaise kaat Diya tune? Sab mujhe chodkar chale jaate hai.tu mat Jaana shiva.plzz mat Jaana.mai Nahi jee paungi" She was sobbing by now.
Shiva hugged her tightly and stroked her hair to console her.
"Kahin Nahi jaa Raha hu Mai raavi.yehi Hu tere paas.aur hamesha rahunga" he said firmly.
" Promise? " She sniffled and asked breaking the hug.
He nodded.
" Kha mere sar ki kasam" she brought his hand and kept it on her head.
" Kasam khata hu.tujhe Kabhi nahi chod ke jaunga" he said looking into her eyes.
He felt bad seeing her this hurt due to him.he had no idea she was this affected due to his ignorance.this was the first and last time she was crying due to him.he made a silent promise to himself.
She smiled hearing this.
" Ab so jaa.thk hai? " He made her life down.
" Shiva " she grinned sheepishly.
" Bol." He said.
She showed him her pinky finger.
He held his head.
" Ab yeh kya hai? Tujhe khaana Hain ya bathroom Jaana hai? " He asked
" Thodi zyada peeli na.jaana hai." She Said pouting.
He held her up and took her.
" Mai Inn heels Mai Nahi chal Sakti aur.bahut dard Kar rahe hai pair." She said
Shiva picked her up in his arms and took her to the washroom.he put her down in front of the door.
" Aram se.girna mat " he said.
" Tu tension mat le.mai bachpan se jaati hu.pata hain mujhe" she said proudly.
Shiva shook his head.
"Gadhedi" he muttered.
He waited outside the door for raavi.she came out and extended her hands indicating him to Carry her.
Shiva smiled and took her in his arms again.
She kept her head on his shoulder.she had missed this warmth.she had missed this proximity.
Shiva laid her down on the bed gently .took out her heels.covered her with a blanket.
" Ab so jaa.samjhi? " He said stroking her hair.
" Idharr aa" she signalled him
He bent closer to her. Raavi kissed his cheeks.shiva was taken aback by surprise.
" Thank you.mujhe hamesha sambhalne ke liye " she said cutely .
" Main Nahi sambhalunga to kaun sambhalega? Chipkali hai Tu meri " he said smiling.
" Aur Tu Mera deewar " she whispered slowly before drifting to sleep.
Shiva lightly kissed her forehead.
He knew he won't be getting any sleep tonight.he needed time to process what happened.she has accepted him and this marriage wholeheartedly, but he wanted a conversation with her when she was sober.tomorrow will be a new beginning for them.he went and checked on rihsita to find her peacefully sleeping.he mentally thanked her for getting his chipkali drunk.she would have never said those things in her senses.
He felt a heavy burden being lifted off his chest.he went to the room and laid on the bed besides her. He kept staring at her till he fell asleep.
