Your writings are amazingsmiley1 I simply enjoy reading themsmiley27About Dev, yes I liked him in today's episode. This is one of the best scenes of Dev. Both Akshay and Alice's acting was really good. 😊

Thank you so much dear silent reader. I wish you become active more and participate in the discussions. Thank you so much for showering such abundant love and considering these random thoughts as beautiful.❤️🤗

Both Akshay and Alice will fabulous in the scene. Their comfort level was indeed reflective through their bond.

Why do Shiva and Raavi do this to us? Yesterday it was all bout Raavi deserving an apology and promise from Shiva to respect her.

Today is all about Shiva, how he tried to make it up to her.

One thing I would like to say here, Dev got really lucky with the one line apology he gave to both Shiva and Raavi, as both are dil ka saaf.

Raavi we all know has no malice, hatred towards anybody, no wonder she readily accepted Dev's apology. We all know Raavi, and even Dev for that matter are only trying to revive their lost friendship. But it broke my heart to see Shiva staring at them like that and his resignation. This was the same situation he was in when he looked at the presents Raavi bought for Dev during the wedding.

Shiva very well knows that he is not the man she chose, but he does not know that Raavi has started giving him space in her heart. Deep down Shiva has also started liking her. It is going to be a long journey of pain, insecurity, self worth before both realize that he is the one for Raavi and that day she will openly declare that Shiva is her dream man.

Premaa 🤗

First of all, let me tell you, my soul-sister, how much I adore your comments on my thoughts. Your posts are very well drafted with a 360° approach to a character, it’s nuance and the storyline overall. I am amazed by the level of patience you have to express everything you feel without a sense of passionate engagement. That gives a steady clarity about what is really happening rather than a mass consensus of ideas. I agree word to word with Whatever you said.

I believe yesterday Shiva was so distraught by their camaraderie that it broke my heart too. It’s indeed very saddening to know that in his head he has bottled up an emotion about not being good enough for Ravi. Dev has been a part of their life like a haunting reality. How can one get over a bond like this? Oh, the angst🤗

I am normally a silent reader but I have to say your analysis was so on point and really beautiful. And I would like to add that the difference in raavi’s heart is telling in the cake feeding scenes. When it comes to shiva feeding her cake she happily ate from his hands grinning ear to ear even teasing him but when dev was apologising and he offered her cake she took a piece in her hands and ate it herself rather than eating from his hands, which is massive character growth for her and a clear sign she has moved on and no longer sees dev as anything but an old friend/ her husbands brother. Unfortunately it will take shiva a long time to accept this and it will be a painful journey for both.

Thank you so much dear silent reader for taking out time to comment on this. I love what you pointed out. Ravi is no longer the ‘Lovestruck Loony’ girl who was madly in love with Dave. She has moved on even without knowing it.

Her innocent smile, her childlike demeanour and her laughter accepting his apology call spelled-out her Healing process. Sometimes, it takes time to grieve,Process and move on. Time is known to be the best healer, and they say whether it’s a good time or a bad time, it passes quickly

It would be interesting if you participate in the discussions more. Look forward to hearing from you🤗

One needs to delve deep into their childhood to understand where they stand today. That ‘I love You Dev’ Gift scene was poignant And speculative. It opened a whole Pandora’s box of memories for Shiva who clearly seems to be operating in the space of childhood right from the beginning. It will be interesting to see the dynamics from henceforth.

I can't wait to see how this whole dynamics unfolds.

I have high hopes. I am a sucker for angst based tracks.

Also I can't wait to read your analysis on today's episode

This is such a beautiful post Piu!! 🤗As usual you are brilliant with the captions and words! ❤️❤️You have truly captured the essence of Dev-Raavi-Shiva relationship. Shiva is upset and disappointed in himself thinking that he can never be the man of her dreams! Slowly but surely that is going to change and Raavi is going to realize that Shiva is the man she always wanted to be with since forever!! Their journey of getting to know each other, being there for each other, comforting and understanding each other has just begun and both will realize along the way that they were always each other’s final destination!

I always say Dev was just a jariyaa, Raavi ka aakhri makaam toh hamesha se Shiva hi tha!

Nups 🤗

Thank you so much 🤗

That’s very beautiful and subtle! You are absolutely correct about Dev being only the means to an end. The final destination of Ravi was always Shiva. I think more than anything, we need to see each other in a new light. More than anything, they have a mental block towards the end each other. The day that barrier is crossed, it will be there love for each other only. There would be no third person involved in the equation at all.

I cannot finds words ro express how this has been penned down so well. the Dev-Shiva-Raavi conflict has been perfectly expressed by you here. Beautiful and apt quotes like always❤️

Meri Pran Priyeee🤗 Thank you so much for being such a cheerleader for my posts 😆. Makes me blush each time and feel like this amazing creature on earth. I love how you all feel that my random musings are something worth interesting.🤗

I knew we would not get the intense apology from Dev given his character. I liked the scene and the scene brought out the premarriage bond minus Raavi's infatuation back. They were so comfortable with seconds. Like you have put it down beautifully....The bond remains intact always❤️

Honestly, at this point of time, I am okay with the way Dev has been with Ravi on her birthday. They had cross the barrier of time when it would have been up for an intense apology. Bring in extra emotions when they have clearly settled in a different universe would have opened only a can of toxic worms. Dave and Ravi have always been comfortable with each other and inherently good to each other. I am glad that they could maintain that a sense in that one scene.

Shiva💔 My heart breaks for him. The last cap and his resignation is shown so evidently in that....Yes you have said it right...there was no sadness, it was kind off anger and the want to have the same comfort with his Raavi. I loved how you mentioned about Shiva's gaze being only on Raavi. Deep down his heart, he craves for love and all of Raavi's attention only for himself. I am sure Dev will be the path through which Shivi realise what they were for each other since childhood. We really can have beautiful scenes from past telling the conflict of feelings❤️

I think I have always reiterated that Shiva has an extreme sense of attachment to everything in his life. His life is never calm. This vulnerability gives him an enormous scope to explore his personality. I also believe that deep down Shiva wants Ravi’s Undivided attention. It would be interesting to see the dynamics from henceforth.

Amazing post as always....thanks for this🤗

Thank You so much for taking out time and investing in commenting on this thread. You folks are just amazing🤗

Shadow_kira can't seem to tag you.

First Things First, I admire the passion, insights and finer intricate points elucidated by all three of you regarding the Dev Ravi Shiva angle.

I agree with all your points and somehow fall short of words to even reply to these wonderfully Articulated posts.

I want to say here without being the devil advocate that Dev, as a personality, has always been a very calm and non-passionately attached person. His bones with his family are tremendous, but he knowingly or unknowingly ends up hurting them because of his lack of expression and stands in his life.

Similarly, with both the women in his life, neither he was highly attached to Ravi as a friend, nor he is blindly in love with Rishita as a lover. He was ready to leave Rishita for the family; he was prepared to go family. For Rishita, he left Ravi for Rishita and now can also not take an excellent stand in front of the family when Rishita insults them.

Characters like Dev exist in the real world. He represents a breed of men who are good-natured, well-bred, educated, soft-spoken and can be seen as suitable marriage materials. Such men Are not meant to be heroes or villains. They exist as a dream man for women As charming and secure options.

With such minimalistic layers to Dev’s character, it’s unexpected of him to give a heartfelt detailed apology. There is a rekindling of Dev Ravi friendship; I meant that the simplistic bond between two childhood friends was revived after a whole emotional turmoil. They both have moved on. Ravi, more so as she is no longer the little girl madly in Love with a delusional dream. She is forgiving, innocent, and childlike, and forgiveness comes naturally to her. Rebirth is not without conditions. The soul may be reborn, but you assume and acquire a new physical body. The same analogy applies to relationships as well. They may be reborn, revived but the offence changes over time.

Ravi is at peace with a man who was her friend. Nothing more, nothing less.
