Shivi scenes have an undercurrent and not a direct hint or realisation that they were in love. Had this been the case, Shiva would have crashed!

She was his object of obsession, but maybe he didn't realise romantically or was too subtle to understand. They had a hint of attraction but NOT feelings!

Shiva was happy and dancing in Dev’s happiness. Perhaps, it's just layered as an undercurrent.
