Not necessarily… you really need to take care of the land and cannot leave it open otherwise it will get encroached upon. I think that is what they discuss… it is too far away to come often and keep an eye on. Finding a trusted person to take care of it might be hard. I think stores might be a better investment especially if it is centrally located and they can visit often.

Know this from personal experience 🙁 my grandparents had to let go of some few acres of land because it was illegally encroached by a politically backed group.
