Frankly, given the way he handled his grievances with Rishitha(Kesar kaand), I am glad she did not share it. He would have made it worse.

Raavi should really learn to stand up for herself. Why should Shiva be the one fighting for her? I really don’t get the romance in that. I would not want my husband to butt in on every small fight I have in my life, especially with people of my age group - it would only make me feel weak, and also like a baby who complains to their parent for every small thing.

As for Raavi sharing her sorrow with Shiva, they are just not there yet. Even if they were, I am not sure Shiva is level headed enough to know where to shut up. I give him a pass for his age. I hope they show him maturing as he grows older.

( OG Tamil version: Kathir was awesome. Mullai in fact told him once that he is the kind of person that any girl can share her problems with, because he was level headed and never over-reacted)

I personally believe no secrets should be kept between couples. However, you are right. You don't need to share every last detail of your life to your spouse. And your spouse doesn't need to respond to every single grievance in your life. Some battles are best fought by yourself and no one else.

Shiva's tendency of grabbing onto Dhara's love/attention or his idea of pranking Rishita until she is scared to death reveal his immaturity. I don't mind it. At his age (no more than 22), it's expected he act slightly kiddish at times. He's not used to responsibility and it doesn't help that everything was thrown at him over the course of hours. He needs time to adjust, and Raavi expecting him to fight every problem she has is certainly not the answer to his growth.

Raavi first needs to let Shiva know that she is there, just as much as Dhara if not more. Once Shiva is able to turn to her for advice and for comfort, we know that he has emotionally grown into the man that can one day solve Raavi's problems with a level head and maturity. Up until then, I'd rather Raavi do a fair amount of listening/sharing her day instead of just complain about every single last detail.

I also believe in seeking different people for different problems. Though it is cute to see a couple rely on everything for each other. It's not really realistic. In real life, we have (or should have) multiple people we can turn to. I often share my school problems with my roommate who is a medical student like me, my non-school problems with my college friends, and my life problems with my parents or sister. Each person has a special and unique role.

I don't want Shiva to turn away from Dhara, not when he's clearly attached to her. I just want him to rely on Raavi for problems he wouldn't typically share with Dhara. And vice versa for Raavi too. I want both of them to be each other's pillar of strength instead of a complaining box where the other person just hears all the complaints.

I'll check back when they go back to Mumbai but I can't stand anymore of this nonsensical cringefest. It's becoming hard to even appreciate Shiva or good acting, I'd rather not ruin the good impression the initial run gave me - the PS which drew me in and kept me here was a beautifully crafted show and I won't have this cheap watered down version overshadow whatever little we had of that!

Good luck to all of you who are going to watch Dhara walk 2 metres for the next 2 episodes and then cry in her Dhara-worshiping mandir-home and rule her Dhara-world with a complement of impropable character graphs for side characters like poo bani pari Rishita and Guatam the Dhara-bhakt (they are side characters, she's the only lead).

I almost gave up after yesterday...there's absolutely no sense in the storytelling anymore. Rishita's big redemption was legit 10 minutes but Dhara's 1 crying fake goodbye was literally 5 minutes

I almost started watching this when I saw the wedding promo wayyyy back when....but the family drama was too much. I think I may binge this since they're married now. I need something running in the background when doing chores lol

Why tractor? others all went in Ola/ uberish vans. Why did janardhanputri Rishita climbed on tractor to go to Mukteshwar?

CV's wanted instant 2-minute Maggi hridayaparivartan for Rishita, that too in most supernatural way... after 2 months of chaos she created. Sab chaos maaf?

Was hoping for some after connections between Shiva & Raavi.. they went through the most intense trauma. besides some looking at each other- some mention of each other ( Raavi was made to be lost with family. and why do they make Dev stand either between them or right next Raavi -All the Time?)

What was with Dev & his zebra stripe chots? looked more like voodoo done by superpower tractorriding coolest new bhabhi(maaaa) in town!

Focus on his face- standing right behind Shiva ...Hillariously crying :)))

It was cringy to watch him hold plank with one hand which Krish+Rishita+2 bhaiyyas all together could not.

Poore emotional scene ka, they made undhiyu.

Starting tomorrow we see Andolan: Bhabhi Bachao in the leadership of Shiva.

Hope they don't forget the khandar conversation between Shva & Raavi. And some pyare scenes , some normal connections continue.

Now that my YKB high has dropped 😆 I think the most infuriating dialogue for me was Dhara’s “mere jaane ke baad mere devraniyan iss parivar ko jode rakhengi” 🤦‍♀️ Like WTF. What have the writers done to Dhara 😭

Another unpopular opinion(chappals are welcome... but remember I am on YKB withdrawal 🤷‍♀️):

We got amazing ShiVi scenes this week, and it terms of their emotional space we got exceptional progress. Why is there so much unhappiness about no PP scenes?

Believe me, I love romance as much as the next person, but just having two people mechanically go through a checklist of “romantic” scenes will not be enjoyable. We think it can be... but it won’t be enjoyable. You need to have an emotional backing. And for that emotional backing, there has to be a story. Today was a crappy episode, but it was still needed to move the story forward. For whatever warped reason, writers chose this Mukteshwar sequence to jolt the kids together. Yes it is cliched, yes it is definitely rushed but the family bonds need to go back to some level of normalcy for ShiVi to even start processing their feelings towards each other. Shiva at the very least will be too worried about his family(no not just Dhara, there is unrest in the house, with everyone including Krish depressed, any normal person would not be thinking about his wife and loving her) to think romantically about Raavi.

This is not meant to be an admonition, it’s more of a gentle reminder to be patient. KD promised PP scenes, we got that. This has been a good week for ShiVi. Let’s hope to get consistent scenes going forward. But I would like to reiterate, focusing the story only on ShiVi without letting the story grow organically for others too, will eventually affect the ShiVi story line. We will get token romantic scenes, but we will miss out on beautiful story. (Example, baththub scene, while tantalizing has already lost its charm for me- I might forget about it in a month or two. The “tu haste hue bohot alag dikhtha hai” scene will stay a long time with me)

Rant over. I think I should probably go underground, change my username, and change my profile pic from Garfield to Hobbes. 🙈

A question for my fellow US HS subscribers. Are you guys starting to see ads on your HS app in between videos? I'm pissed because now I have to see ads with paid subscription?!
