So am I! It would be so good to watch them all together but for that to happen certain lessons have to be learnt.

It will be pretty wholesome journey!

Yes. Hope Dev can open up a bit about his feelings as I don’t understand what he is thinking still now lol. Is he loving his wife? Or feel sad for Raavi and Shiva situation? Guiding Rishita about his family dynamics? He is mute all the time and I don’t understand him at all.

In original version, Dev told Rishita that he will not consummate his marriage till Raavi and Shiva start their marriage life. Here he doesn’t speak at all or just talk irrelevant things. Hope makers focus on his character growth too.
I have no idea how these ppl learn lesson without healthy conversations. I am looking forward for more family moments.

I hear you, Dev really needs to stop being mute. He needs to speak up when it's necessary. Not useless chatter like Main bada bhai and all.

I too, am looking forward to the family time. Pandya Store does it really well.

I am definitely interested in the changes they've made for Dev. You're right, in the original version, he was a lot more upfront about his desires for his marriage. He didn't try to cut loose, and instead, tried his best to resolve whatever miscommunication was caused by him, like apologize to Shiva. Even the way he handled his wife, I felt, was done more beautifully. They spoke about their expectations, and despite Rishita not feeling happy, she knew that's what Dev wanted for the moment (and it wasn't as if Dev loved her any less).

I'm thinking they changed his character here because he's supposed to be some 21-23 year old boy. Somewhat immature, deep in love, and definitely still a child at heart (especially with his brothers). Even Rishita to me is the same. They didn't really face much trials and tribulations as a couple, so I think they never had the chance to mature. The one really serious event they had to face was the idea of not being able to get married. But, in the end of the day, they were able to marry.

ShiVi and GauRa are different in that they've had to sacrifice some aspect of their future when they married. For GauRa, it was the potential of changing their friendship into a relationship. Navigating their new life with responsibilities (especially at a young age). For ShiVi, it was marrying a partner that they did not for themselves + going through heart break/almost suicide on the day of the wedding.

I definitely think the DevTa maturity track is coming in the near future. They can't (as much as I want to) keep focusing in on ShiVi on GauRa. And they can't keep showing mindless DevTa romance scenes. I'm thinking once they return to Somnath, Janardhan will return and cause tensions in their lives. Or, Rishita will finally have to face the responsibilities of being a daughter-in-law (cooking, taking care of the household/store work, giving Dhara a helping her, making sure not just her husband, but his whole family is safe and protected).

True. Dev is little immature as he might be young in this version. I believe that Rishita is kind of open book and just express her feelings or thought without any filters. She is kind of similar to original version just little bit more drama compared to original version. I think they does change little bit of everyone's character compared to original version.

GauRa love story kind of have deep foundation and developed into nice relationship after sometime. Shivi love story just begin and have time to built into deep relationship. DevRish doesn't seem to built that foundation instead just started showing affection/PDA without any deep connection and audience might not able to relate them. As you said, too much of anything doesn't end well so I think that giving equal screen space to everyone is better.

Well said!! I think after this fun phase, we are going to get more drama and Janardhan will come back into play.

He's going to cause lot of issues, that's a guarantee. Rishita, would then have to make difficult decisions.

No, we've been talking too little today. Definitely the slowest moving thread day so far. If we went at yesterdays record speed, we would've started EDT#4 already 🤣

But I have high hopes for today's episode! Even if ShiVi doesn't work in our favor, our home girl Rishita will deliver courtesy of Shiva and Krish! 😆
