Mahi🤗🤗 Thank you so much for giving us this story! Haha I have already told you how much I love it and reading this part just makes me fall in love with this story, this Shiva even more. And I lobed all the conversations between the three couples. The one between GauRa was so powerful. A personal anecdote. growing up, it used to work me a lot that everyone referenced me as my dad's daughter when I acheived something. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love my dad, he's done so much for us, and now with maturity and better understanding, I take pride in it. However, at a early teen phase, I was like I am acheiving this on my own, on my own merit. So why don't I have my own pehchan. Why do I always have to be known as my dad's daughter. As you maybe aware, in indian customs, our middle names are our Dad's name. Here when feeling out any forms, middle names are optional. So I started to not include it on any documents I filled out. I got a big shock once at SSN office I learned I don't have a middle name. Yikes. Now I slowly started adding it everywhere and am like even if I get married, I am not changing my middle name.

And coming to ShiVi and Shiva! I love how you described their love. It shines though your eloquent words, weaves magic in our hearts, and engulfs us in their love! This may just be dead..heaven wala situation 🤗

I am married and I haven’t changed my surname. The daughters of our sides do not change our surnames to our husbands. We believe that is the basic identity and should never be changed. Also my surname has been used just as my first name during my educational phase. They treated my surname like my first name. Its a part of me so I can never leave it behind.

I have been known through my relationship to my loved ones all my life and they have been known through me too. So it never affected me.

Gaura in my eyes are mature people who would kinda have such convos because they r both friends too and partners so. So I chose this topic.
