I have seen such behaviour in real life from people who have raised kids brothers from a very tender age. What happened today was a reflection of how blind are Gaumbi and Dhara.

Marriage is a very big change in every human’s life. There are complexities involved and intricacies to be handled.

People marry each other and not Parivar!

Parivar comes next. Dhara and Gaumbi need to seriously cut their umbilical chords with the boys now. This mollycoddled behaviour is getting on my nerves. They are adults and not toddlers anymore. Marriage needs conversations amongst spouses and not Yadon ki Barasat song.

As much as Rishita annoys and irks me, today she wasn’t at fault. The way she chided Dhara being a school teacher was in fun. There wasn’t any need of her being offended.

Sandwiches for instance, Dhara might be the cook of the century but Rishita isn’t. Day 1 is not really the time to teach those to the Bahus!

Dhara has done a lot for them, now, it’s her time to take a breather and cut them some slack. Her sacrifices are a lot and I do wish, she has that time to think about herself too. Her selflessness is just so heartbreaking. This over indulgence may lead to suffocating new relationships.

Dhara is almost like a mother to them but these are men in new relationships now. She should stop being this “mommy will make a dollhouse for you” attitude.

she made Raavi-Shiva together but it’s not her duty to facilitate them every second. Let them find their own way.

For once, I thought Raavi has a heart of a child. Like Dhara, she is stuck to her childhood and her changed relationship with Shiva hasn’t even registered much in her cute brain. Her whole life revolved around Shiva’s acknowledgement as a child, during growing up and now she just wants to reprimand him for marrying her and leaving her with the Gundas.

Her childlike dissatisfaction and disappointment when Dhara and Gaumbi decided not to beat them was an indication of their childhood. Maybe they always fought and brothers would get into fist fighting too! They have this whole history of togetherness which is Natural to Raavi, Dev and Gaumbi-Dhara.

But, the marriage has probably registered in Shiva’s brain. Humans are insecure people. The sheer fact that his life partner doesn’t view him compatible bruises him subconsciously.

For Raavi, Shiva is still her Shiva, so laughing at him comes naturally to her. Shiva on the other hand seems to have subconsciously registered that there’s a marriage that has happened and he is grossly incompetent as a partner to someone like her.

He is sensitive to her suicide. Today he refers to that again during her choice of song.

Ahhh! There’s so much to write about today’s episode!

You're right!

Shiva has seen a side that he has never seen from Raavi. He saw her heartbreak and saved her from making one of the biggest mistakes of her life. He's defended her when Rishita wouldn't even acknowledge Raavi's presence. Because he's seen the sensitive side of Raavi, he matured more quickly.

Shiva's heartbreak is a chance for Raavi to see the human side of Shiva. To recognize that beyond the stony layers, Shiva is just as sensitive as anyone else. He didn't want this marriage as much as she did. And I think this track will help Raavi grow from her childlike tendencies.

Bravo!! You summed it up nicely!!

GauRa are being helicopter parents right now. They need to stop. Easier said than done.

Frankly speaking, the intricacies of a joint family and new marriages was shown perfectly. Different personalities, different ways of thinking.

Doesn’t mean it’s wrong, it’s just way of handling things.

Agree with everyone on Dhara's mom thing. And it's realistic too. For mom, her kids are always her babies. But they forget that they're full grown men. And not just indian, I hear it at from American colleagues too. That their Mom's are too interfering and needs to have some boundries. (Tv example, everybody loves Raymond).

And it's not that her kids aren't respecting her, it's just that she doesn't realize they have grown up and needs to let them act like one. Let them make mistakes and learn from it. Just be there on their side to pick them up or assist when they need help. And maybe unknowingly Rishita and Raavi will make her realize this.

She was ready to kill herself for Dev, not just once but twice

That too in front of Shiva only

But honestly I don't know why I think Raavi is going to get all this back at herself, who knows what's in store for us.

I just hope not, but somehow I feel she could be responsible for dhara being hurt🤦

Like we all are waiting for Shiva's breakdown and pata pada we'll get dhara's instead just because she knows how hurt her shiva is😆

And if something happens to dhara then raavi will be on everyone's hit list well excluding her new found friend of course

@bold: she will get it back. With all this fanning of his insecurities that she is doing, Shiva is going to be strongly convinced that she can never love someone like him and will probably avoid her once he realizes his feelings for her. She will have to make a lot of efforts to understand his perspective and convince him that it is not true.. somewhat like a long drawn out version of your OS 😆

Completely agree with you! They both have to breakdown before they can build back up!

DevTa are in their own world 😂

Plus, just like anything, it’s gets worse before getting better.

I totally get it’s going to happen. Raavi reached her low with the suicide attempt. Now it’s Shiva’s turn with a breakdown.

I’m not sure about DevTa!!

Pandya family has a lot of love and care but my god, they need communication.
Talk it out! Sweeping it under the rug will make it fester and erupt in anger or an emotional breakdown.

It’s realistic. I have to say.

I know he'll be a hard nut to crack for her😆

But I am actually surprised at raavi treating dev as nothing when all she have been doing her whole life is chanting his name🤣

I remember the dream she has of dancing with Dev, that time I laughed it off but now that I thought about it, I just had one question what was Shiva doing there between her and her would be husband??😆

Honestly, I think she chanted Dev's name because Shiva always tried to stop her from doing it🤣

Oh, don't worry, I think the DevTa breakdown/troubles in paradise will happen right after the ShiVi track. I think the makers are being extra generous right now because ShiVi have a lot to unpack. Once they are in good terms, Rishita will be on their hit-list next. Poor girl has been too happy for too long, ITV doesn't allow such wonders 😆

I just hope Gaumbi's words make Dev a little more compassionate towards Shiva and Raavi. Even if he can ask his wife to tone down the romance (which I think she will considering she now thinks a little more positively about Raavi), that would be good.

Really? I'm thinking it will come around soon with Shiva's breakdown. it may not be in anger at Dev's way, but anger at himself for not being selfish. "Kaash Maine Bhabhi ki baat man Kar padhai finish ki Hoti, aur iss baat na mane ki jagah Raavi se Shaadi wali baat na Mani Hoti, kaash.."
