You're right about having human decency, but while any common person has that, Rishita simply doesn't. She grew up in a family of goons, her Bua slapped Dhara for no reason, her parents locked her up, the list is endless. I'm not trying to justify her negativity, but I think there's enough reason for her lacking certain personality traits that perhaps the Pandya family can later on teach her and help her develop.
Her problem is her holier than thou attitude. While I know she's not negative, she needs to learn the things her parents failed to teach her.
