Nominations for 'Viewers Choice-2005' announced

KARACHI: The Awards office of the Lux Style Awards announced the nominees for the "Viewer's Choice Awards - 2005" on Saturday, according to a press release.
The awards will be announced for eight categories, six for television and two for music.
It would be the Fourth Lux Style Awards ceremony to be held in Karachi in Oct 2005 and Pakistanis will vote and select the winner for these categories.
The nominees for the Best Music Album include Abrar ul Haq (Nacha Main Ude Naal), Atif Aslam (Jal Pari), Jal (Aadat), Meekal Hassan (Sampooran) and Mizraab (Mazi Haal Musaqbil) and those for the Best Music Video are Ahsan and Amena (Rangeen), Asim Raza (Mahi Ve), Jamshed Mehmood (Chal Dil Mere), Jamshed Mehmood (Dhani), and Saqib Malik for Khamaj.
Categories for television awards are: Best TV Play (PTV), Best TV Actor (PTV), Best TV Actress (PTV), Best TV Play (Satellite), Best TV Actor (Satellite) and Best TV Actress (Satellite).
The nominees for Best TV Play (PTV) are Hum Se Juda Naa Hona; Mah-e-Neem Shab; Pani Pe Naam; Pataal; Pooray Chaand Ki Raa.
Best TV Actor (PTV) are, Arbaaz Khan (Sassi), Humayun Saeed (Hum Se Juda Naa Hona), Izhar Qazi (Pani Pe Naam), Sohail Asghar (Mah-e-Neem Shab), and Usman Peerzada (Pataal).
Nominees for Best TV Actress (PTV) include Mona Lisa (Mah-e-Neem Shab), Naheed Shabbir (Bezubaan), Saadia Imam (Hum Se Juda Naa Hona), Uzma Gillani (Pataal) and Wajeeha Ali (Pooray Chaand ki raat).
Ana (Geo), Jaisay Jaante Nahin (ARY), Moorat (ARY), Rustam aur Sohrab (Indus), Wajood-e-laraib (Indus) and Woh Tees Din (Geo) are the nominees for Best TV Play ( Satellite) and the nominees for the Best TV Actor (Satellite) are Abid Ali (Moorat), Faisal Qureshi (Main Aur Tum), Firdous Jamal (Who Tees Din), Nadeem (Jaisay Jaante Nahin), Sajid Hassan (Yaad To Ayengay) and Talat Hussain (Ana). The Nominees for the Best TV Actress (Satellite) are Atiqa Odho (Dhool), Maria Wasti (Moorat) Reema (Yaad Tau Ayengay), Saba Hameed (Woh Tees Din) and Samina Peerzada (Ana).
