Rahul says dividing Pakistan one of successes of Gandhi family
NEW DELHI: Rahul Gandhi, son of Congress leader Sonia Gandhi and an Indian member of the parliament, has said dividing Pakistan was one of successes of the Gandhi family.

Addressing an election rally at Bareilly Rahul Gandhi said: "Once my family decides something, it doesn't go back. Whether it's about India's freedom, dividing Pakistan or taking India to the 21st century," he said.

The Congress MP from Amethi was campaigning for a party candidate contesting from Bareilly Cantt.

I thought Gandhi was against Partition?😕 (maybe I'm confused..😆 lol)
And Rahul Gandhi is really weird..😕 He always comes up with this nonsense about his 'family background'..too bad that doesn't account for his own lack of experience n support!😉

i think he reffered to the independence of bangladesh-it was part of pakistan but becuase pakistan lost the war of 71-a crushing defeat, by the way--pakistan was divided- this was during indira gandhi's time-
