Hey guys!
I recently started watching MSM a week ago, and I've already caught up all the episodes.
While I am happy seeing TalRosh married, and I look forward to more of their scenes, I do have a different take on what's going on with the show.
The one thing I would like to discuss is... up until the beach confrontation between them, where Talha fires Roshi and the reason he did it for, I don't really think he was in the wrong at all. And I'm looking at it from Talha's perspective.
In fact, it was Roshi was being extremely intrusive in his life. While I do understand why Mohid go too attached to her, Ahad's father not only accepted her immature behaviour but also encouraged it, like asking Roshi, a college kid, to keep an eye on his son. If there was something Talha wanted to tell his father, I'm sure he would have.
While Roshi came with the best of intentions, even she wouldn't have wanted Talha or anyone else to interfere in her life, if she hadn't started developing feelings for him. Even she was pretty annoyed when Talha stopped her from leaving with Shariq and lectured her on safety.
Talha was also warming up to Roshi from since the time Mohid was taken by her, probably started developing feelings for her even. It was only when she barged into his cabin and asked him about Sabeeka did he lose it.
And even now, while I do understand Roshi's resentment towards Talha and the way he dealt with her after Sabeeka's complaint, she still hasn't gained any maturity. In fact, she seems to have gotten worse - accepting a random marriage proposal, making herself miserable in the process - all of this, just to spite Talha.
And I don't really like the fact that show has to end with them getting married. I wished they went for an ending where both the leads acknowledge their flaws and try to work together - maybe the show ends with them getting into a relationship, because like Talha says, the age gap between them is still a huge deal.
What do you guys think?
