I am the minority but am highly uncomfortable with the whole maa beti marrying the baap beta.. no it is just plain gross 🙃. Baaki yumna was fantastic in her confrontation scene with bade abbu but again i will not be able to connect with nashwa and her convenience se aate jaate takes and agendas like today her throwing that justice for maheen wala indirect while she herself is so cool with bigger problems like having intrestbin her to be brother and having a rishta for a rapist and treating him like a masoom bacha 🤷🏻‍♀️

Okay. I'm glad Nashwa brought up Mahi's pleads...her need for justice and how it was denied in this house.

And I know people started to sympathize with Sidra but I never trusted her. She has always used Bisma as a slave and a shield to deflect ma jis anger. It doesn't matter how hard her life has been. Just like her son she's an enabler. And enbalers are always worse. So, she went and told her husband about Nashwa's plan with Ammar.

I love how they blurred out the deal between Taya and Nashwa.

I wonder if Nashwa already married Ammar and now they'll show that in a flashback....like he took them to court and got them married. Because bakhtiyar knows Nashwa can say no after Bisma leaves.

Okay, so far I was like Nashwa is dealing with Ammar the way she can. She stood up a lot and reminded him of his things. But now I'm also seeing what people are pointing out...how is she casually having coffee or tea with him? But I'm enjoying Ammar's layers as usual.

This show is mysterious. Today's episode was dhamakedar. I think the wedding will be tomorrow.

Yes, really really happy Maheen was brought up. It’s very obvious that Nashwa hasn’t forgotten magar god knows how many secrets of this criminal family she’s hiding. Anything for survival, right? So far she hasn’t had to use this leverage over them but now when it’s come to her mom’s future, she’s playing every single card she’s got. Love her for that.

About the Sidra scene, by take is completely different. She overheard what Nashwa said to Ammar but she didn’t disclose it to her husband. We never saw it. All she said was that she doesn’t want Nashwa to get mad and reveal all of Ammar’s kartoot which might get him in trouble. So she’s worried about Nashwa as a potential witness to what goes on in this house. My understanding was that she was worried about other people finding out. Not specifically about Ammar going to jail. Badnaami ka darr tha usse. At the same time she’s also advocating for Bisma and Asim’s marriage because she knows it’s the right thing to do (established last week after her conversation with her daughter) and also she doesn’t want to test Nashwa’s frustration.

The music during the deal scene was really loud and bothersome for me. So much suspense when we know what’s gonna happen

The Nashwa Ammar scene. Again, can’t help but like it. She’s not having tea WITH him. She’s having it alone and he’s kind of just… there. And don’t forget how he closed their talk with a muted “F*** you” and Nashwa wasn’t even fazed at ALL. But gave it right back to him. To me their dynamic is very much cousin rivalry still but them currently in a reluctant stalemate because they need something from the other. Idk it makes sense to me. I’m not even bothered about a marriage now after today because it’s obvious Nashwa can handle this whole tabbar very well on her own. She’s not like her mother and can take a stand. If anything SHE will make THEM suffer and regret marrying her off to Ammar from the looks of it

Burhan is not Asim’s biological son. He is adopted and is his friend’s son who died. So technically Nashwa and Burhan aren’t even blood cousins.

I know that but it is still way too uncomfortable for me that maa beti are into baap beta..again he could have just kept burhan as dost ka beta then he could have been calling him uncle / mama / chacha. They both can't be calling asim Abba and then marry each other..just my thoughts..it is too disturbing and doesn't look good imo.

I am actually thanking the writer for making Burhan adopted warna PTV writers ka koi bharoosa nahi, he might as well have been the actual son and writer would still have been okay with doing this But at LEAST at LEAST we have this one saving grace that he’s adopted. I’m breathing a sigh of relief because yes it could have been wayyyy worse

Oh I quit it by that time..but yes sure they had one different parent but it still goes under incest..this isn't progressive imo u are basically sharing parents even if it is bhudhappa baaki cousins and all toh karwa hi dete ho parents sharing to na karwao..khuda ke liye..🙏 it got worse for me with burhan straight up being ammi to nashwa and nashwa being asim as Abba chahiye..nere wlae not FIL wale Abba ke tarah..🤢 as if ww the rapist and nashwa being so chill with him ain't alarming enough.. the way she just never feels the icky around him or her bade Abba seeing his behavior to her mom ..and yahan toh knows the kacha chahta..the bachpan se saath rehte excuse fails on me..Caz kitna bhi close hon as cousins the moment u know he did that an educated intelligent girl like nashwa can't be so chill..even if right now it is part of her plan too the comfort level is way too much for pretend play too

The villains( B- B duo) in QEJ are just brilliant . Not just characters but acting too . It’s been ages since I watched such good villains who aren’t OTT and caricatures . You hate them but still in awe of them - both the actors are doing such an amazing job .

In Muslim culture u can't really adopt a child u can only be caretaker and so the marriage isn't an incest...
