The writer is so thoughtful with her character arcs, even the villains. I am at a loss to see any recent PTV writer do anything other than the bare minimum when it comes to villains. Most in PTV are so black that you don’t even think about it but categorise them in the evil box immediately. But here the writer is TELLING you so believably how someone like Barkat Bibi is created - how her hatred for Bisma took root. You don’t like her but from a mother’s point of view, you GET it. Same for Bakhtiyar, there’s so much insecurity lying beneath the surface when it comes to Asim and Burhan. The man he will never be and his son will never be. Half the harassment he does to Bisma is a result of his sick power play because she is where he can exert control. From Ammar to Nashwa everyone in this house is so damaged and flawed. So I enjoy seeing their arcs because they surprise you. I am honestly sick of perfect heroines who can do no wrong. I love that Nashwa having grown up in that house is also not immune to the toxicity. That’s realistic for me. She has her own set of weaknesses and blind spots and she makes the best out of a bad situation. I don’t have to agree with her, but I get her. The writer has spent time giving us her perspective and you hardly get that in Ptv. Naturally the investment came for me even though this was supposed to be a “light watch” - Jokes on me Hahahaha

Ammar was a dream role for any new actor. Perfect layers to grow and display your range. And luckily for him, his hard work paid off. Even though I adore Burhan and Nashwa and they have their own flavor of romance, Ammar definitely has more intrigue value as a character. And also his dynamic with Nashwa is really fun to watch.

I didn't imagine nameer khan can pull off an Ammar

Given he was mediocre and forgettable in Mein as Ayezas brother

The leap in acting here is unbelievable

And he looks so good with yumna

That also adds as a plus point

I don't find any chemistry between yumna and Usama

But with Nameer

My goodness

I loved their wedding night scene

I loved the flashbacks of Ammar

At the beach

It shows why he is like this

I loved Ammar swag on the car at the beach

He is just too good

I loved how he was a bit passed but still went with nashwa to see where she is taking him

It was a huge blunder from script level to show her taking him to rehab the very next day

Who does that

They might be rushing things a bit as it's already episode 28

They could have married them off a bit early and then show how nashwa and Ammar are finding ways to adjust

Their home has been shown as a tragedy where both the moms of Ammar and nashwa were in a loveless marriage

They could have showed how nashwa and Ammar actually fall for each other and history doesn't get repeated

It's not yet proven that he indeed was guilty

Yes he drugged her

But we don't know if he indeed raped and murdered her

I think now the story will progress that way when we will get to know who is the culprit

He is a Grey character

But he is still better than his father and Dadi

As nashwa says to her mother

He isn't munafik like the others
