First of all sorry for interruption but I just want to add some points here.
Faiza saqlain became a brand when she collaborate with Maya. Maya literally wear her clothes everywhere and promote it. If her motive always was to ditch her and get the idea about designing and all the she will not posts about them I can clearly remember a long post where she appreciate Faiza and her husband to support her in tough times all. It's not like she ditched her. They both get benefits from that friendship. We don't know what happened at the back.
And about the movie male leads that brought majority isn't 100% correct as well.we can say this about teefa where Ali was bigger star and brought more audience but that was also Maya's peak time after manmayal. Ali was accused of harassment right before the movie release. And her second movie was with sherry where she was definitely a bigger star coming with superhit teefa. Sherry did three to four movies and none of them was superhit. Ho maam Jahan was average. Then one of his movie was with Mahira and amna which was flopped and project ghazi was flopped as well. Paray hut love was his only movie whiçh was hit.

Faiza Saqlain - if you look at Maya's brand it has the exact same aesthetics. Same type of eastern wear. I can without looking up a dress and tell if it is a Farah Talib or a Mohsin Ranjha or a Nomi. They have their signature style. Faiza and Maya's are not only similar but also a little generic. There was a huge chatter about her copying many other smaller designers and ripping off Indian designers.
All the thank you posts and cuddling the kids were from before the launch of her brand. People have been complaining about the quality and custom service of Maya pret! It's with communication and ghosting. I can personally tell you that Faiza at least provides good quality. I don't think one just cuts each other off when the other launches a similar brand. There were issues.
These day every celeb launches a skincare or a dress brand. Oftentimes when they send pr packages or make their celeb colleagues do photoshoots, they provide them with good materials but when they make it for the regular customers it's a whole different story.
Yes, Teefa was a good movie and Ali lead it. The second one with Sherry I do not remember there being a big hype. I watched that as well and did not enjoy it. It wasn't that big of a success as Teefa. Like I said she served great in the songs and screen presence was stunning but overall she just cannot act. Usually I see people get better over the years and I feel she has regressed. The way she speaks all her dialogues are usually so unnatural but her screen presence and excellent script can make it bearable sometimes (DeD) but when a script like Yunhi or SMD comes it makes it hundred time worse. She cannot improvise and cannot add any depth to the character. I found Wahaj and Hira to be their usual self. At the end, the major consensus from neutral viewers and reviewers alike is that she just can't act. She's better off with brands and modelling. But she's always a pleasure to watch on the big screen. Many big names and big screen actors cannot act. That doesn't mean they don't get movies.
Sherry finally improved a lot. Radd and AIEJ shows his potential though the scripts are weak. Talking about Sherry, Maya took away some attention with those regular sob posts throughout his wedding festivities. I get it and it's her right to be sad but so many hints. That's a little bit of an attention seeking situation.
