I know right? Agar yeh log apni baap, Bhai, shohar, bete and male friends ko wohi scrutiny ke sath treat karte Jo yeh drama ki ladkyon ya heroine se expect karte hai in real life to Kiya hi bat hota. The heroines are judged so harshly even after putting up some fight especially when they are fighting from a weak position. Alas, that's not to be hence why we get to see some of these creeps in reels and reals in normal household and everyone taking things normally lol. The irony is funnysmiley36

I think the approach should be to show some grace and margin. It's hard for us girlies as it is. Women for women, please. Not against.

Yes. When you watch Dil wali Gali main or Qarz e jaan you realize a few women are truly even a bigger villain than men. The men oppress but some women join or enable even though they too are considered second class citizen by the men or have been through the same treatment that they are now dishing out to the other ladies. Internalized misogyny? Just evil? What is this phenomena called? I'd do everything to make sure something that happened to me doesn't happen to someone else. Ajeeb.

Whether it's about owning a young widow as a slave/maid/property so that she compensates and suffers for their dead son's "untimely " death (son died so the wife has to suffer too - a virtual s@ti. It's like a kid spilling another kid's drink because theirs got over. Everyone needs to suffer lol) or making a huge deal out of giving washroom privacy to a newly wed female and comparing it to donating your vital organs to her (the washroom issue is apparently a pandemic since centuries lol). Some women can really be a bigger villain than any man. That itself is quite the achievement! Women in man dominated field ki hashtag achieved!

So, I feel a little margin of error, a little grace and forgiveness for someone already in a tight mental space can go a long way.

Also, I feel we enjoy a drama more if we watch the dramas instead of imposing our morals on the characters all the time smiley2

if it doesnt align with my moral values, I kinda dont watch it honestly..nor do I enjoy bad boys and whatever.smiley36 But there is nothing immoral about QEJ or DWGM..girls doing a lot better than their male counterparts..I know Juu baby fans will complain about views and trps....I feel so sorry for them..because they come across as so funny in an unfunny waysmiley17

+++++++++++++++++++++

on another note..I still want a prequel to Noor Jahan and maybe Yum X Sajal there with them playing NJ and her jethani and the power struggle from their younger days..omg that would be so epic..they are what Saba Q and Aamina Sheikh were at some stage..like a remake of Maat but with Yumz X Sajal..and no baby face male leads in it..jury is out on who could play the male leads in it.

Noor Jahan Prequel That Will Be Interesting BTW If You Don't Want Baby Face ML Then Shehzad Sheikh Would've Been Perfect As The ML
