In both episodes 13 and 14, there were a couple of scenes between Bilal and Humsha, which I think were quite interesting.
The airport scene and their car ride from the airport has Humsha looking at him with so much longing – at some points, I actually felt sorry for her (of course, only for few seconds
). When Bilal mentioned that he has decided to get married and went all shy when questioned whether he is in love, Humsha’s was almost dreading his answer – her eyes literally dimmed at this point (Is it me or she acts better and less irritating in her scenes with Bilal than others?).
My favourite was the one where she called back and stopped Bilal when he was about to enter Sadaf’s house. The spring in his steps was unmistakable, he was too eager for the whole dinner-thing. She stopped him and asked him how she looked – it was obvious from the beginning that she craves for his attention and didn’t have that beyond professional boundaries. She seemed always bitter about the fact that Sadaf had it even without trying. However, this probably is the first time she voiced it brazenly. He stopped and gave her a quick once over – as if he just noticed her for herself. His quick answer was just a respectful complement – out of politeness, there was no thought behind it, and he was impatient to continue towards his destination. But Humsha knew exactly what to say, so she could hold his attention – the moment she mentioned that she knows who he is in love with, she had his undivided attention. His eyes softened with warmth, and he turned to her fully. And it is quite evident that this is going to be their dynamic in the future.
Yea, the equation is clear. He will rely on her for support after his heartbreak. Humsha who think she loves Bilal will lend the support but will keep getting dejected as Bilal's thoughts will only be occupied with Sadaf. At least Humsha seems less irritating when she is with Bilal otherwise she is insufferable.
Why I said Humsha thinks she loves Bilal because her love isn't pure or unconditional.. I think this is also what writer is trying to showcase....what love truly is....while Ammar and Humsha claim to love Sadaf and Bilal respectively, they actually do not know what love is. Where there is manipulation and ill intentions, there can be no love
It's Bilal whose love for Sadaf is the actual true love...unlike Humsha he would have never badmouth Sadaf or try to separate her from the man she loved....Humsha ruins Bilal's image in Sadaf's eyes simply coz she doesn't want Sadaf to accept Bilal. Despite all manipulations, she won't get Bilal and this will be her punishment and the curse will come true.
Ammar also will not end up with Sadaf in the end. Even if they marry, they will separate.
I want to see Sadaf's side of love..what kind of love will she have for Bilal.
As of now, only Bilal knows what love truly is.
