"I won’t watch it anymore, SMD is over for me... I’ll just watch the trailers, maybe. I like the Wahaj-Maya couple, but what Hira does in every episode has made me sick. I’ve really gotten disgusted. I can’t stand her anymore. By the way, I’m writing from Turkey. Goodbye SMD..."

That was a beautifully written one! And wonderfully enacted and executed too! And the way he left right after saying that gives away everything that one needs to know about his feelings smiley1

I really wish there’s something more to justify all this incessant scheming. Even without Sadaf in the picture, Bilal never gave Humsha any reason to think she had a shot,he was against relationships at work and had no interest in marriage until Sadaf. So atleast if there’s an unresolved history between her and Sadaf, that could be interesting, but the show hasn’t given us any hints so far. Maybe it’s less about love and more about bitterness—Humsha sees Sadaf getting the kind of life she feels she deserves, and her scheming is more about tearing Sadaf down than actually being with Bilal. What is Humsha’s problem- pls help me understand 😊 And why is Hira hogging so much space🙇‍♀️?

By now we should have a book on this - 'The art of manipulations: Humsha's edition'

And she is omnipresent and omniscient- you see left, right and center, you have her. She dines with Bilal, and then heads straight into Ammar's party. And you name it, she knows it - everyone's inside informer!!

True maybe, they could have shown that she was always jealous of Sadaf. I think Humsha always liked Bilal…the pen scene and her avoiding to marry Faraaz all hinted that she was probably interested in Bilal. She just accepted that he is never one to get married and also accepted that this will never go anywhere and somewhat suppressed her feelings. When she saw a different side of him and sees that it is possible for him to commit to someone, I guess she wants to be the one…it’s like an obsession now. If it can be Sadaf then why not her? She has a sadistic side too that is enjoying this process of manipulation. I’ll be honest, I have seen a few people in real life that have similar traits. The problem is, like you’re saying that she is hogging all the screen space. Humsha and her manipulations are just annoying to watch at this point. She’s in every scene with every person manipulating them. If this wedding goes through, then it won’t be like that anymore but she’ll be buzzing around Bilal Abdullah the whole time trying to mend his broken heart 🤮

Hamsha's manipulations initially created a sense of tension and curiosity among the audience. However, over time, the repetition of these manipulations using the same formula led to the character becoming somewhat obsessive. Each of Hamsha's new victims was subjected to similar psychological pressures, and the same tactics were used every time. While the audience initially wondered how cleverly these manipulations were planned and how they succeeded, the events began to feel repetitive, and Hamsha's actions became predictable, causing the character to lose its appeal. Moreover, with each episode, the manipulated individuals began to be perceived increasingly negatively by the audience. Hamsha's constant manipulation and the way she pushed the emotional and mental limits of others started to evoke not empathy but fear and anger. Especially as viewers began to focus more on the victims, their struggles and the effects of the manipulation became more pronounced. Hamsha's actions were increasingly seen as a form of sadism, pushing the moral boundaries of the audience.

Sadaf's decision of agreeing to marry Ammar was impulsive, not rational. She made that irrational decision to counteract the proposal that Farazana assumed that Bilal would bring. And now that she has decided and literally used it as a shield, she is hell bent on proving that her decision is the right one. From the day one, her mother was shown as someone very intuitive - she had an innate sense of knowing what is going around and was very perceptive about things. Bilal has Farzana's vote of confidence over Ammar, despite knowing his vices, she believed everything he said. And to top it all, Zaviyar is, rightfully, attached to Bilal. So, put everything on a nutshell, her family favours and adores Bilal, but it is her decision to marry Ammar. She is determined to prove them that she made the correct decision. Hence, she being all obsessively dead-set on making Ammar bring someone with him as her mother mentioned. And she was heart broken, because she honestly herself is not completely convinced of the decision she made and she doesn't want any reasons to suggest that she has made the wrong choice. That is how all those frustrations of hers, were translated to me! smiley24

Thanks for giving this perspective. Now the scene makes much more sense. But there is something wrong with the execution of the whole drama. It’s just not appealing . Humshaa is the cherry on the cake. Her presence is making it unbearable.

"I will never watch any production written by Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar, no matter if it's starring Hollywood or Bollywood stars. He's on my blacklist now. As they say, if you're going to be friends with someone, first check if they watch KRQ's works."

It’s too slow. Like the last 2 episodes could have been condensed into 1. Most things in shows don’t always make sense but they move pretty fast from it that you don’t have time to linger on it. Here it’s slow and getting repetitive
