A show like QEJ getting 7.5 or 8 is not equal to a big budget heavily promoted show like smd getting in 7+ . And , there's no comparison. Comparing views of smd with qej is comparing apples to oranges. One is a love story n the other is a social drama .

They aren't even competing with each other n comes in different day n timeslot.

Some shows work n some don't. N honestly , trps ,views etc aren't the audience concern. It's the headache of production house n the cast involved. Why should we even bother?

What was expected of GM, QeJ did it for Yumna. The first episode was really very good. TRP might be lesser than what Hum flyers show but it’s still a very good start.

Haha. Nobody has even compared smd with qej lol. Everybody knows both the genres are different. But the fact is the former is airing on a competitive slot in a geo flop era. Whereas the latter is airing on a non competitive slot in a hit era of hum.

Also I don't understand why wahajs project selection are compared with yumna. They aren't targeting the same roles. Yumna is a female lead and wahaj a male lead. It'd be better to compare them with their respective contemporaries.

Yumna has her priorities set, she isn't offered commercials so she has been doing social projects. Whereas after tb success, wahaj is being offered only commercial scripts. Just because yumna does socials doesn't mean wahaj has to follow the same, both have different career paths.

I personally am not invested in what Yumna does....I think some Yumna fan compared Yumna and her show with SMD & TB's success and that's how the conversation kickstarted.

She can do cause based, commercial projects or anything for that matter.....While Wahaj will do what he feels right, he has attempted and done well in different genres be it comedy, horror, cause based, commercial etc etc so I am pretty happy with his filmography...These are actors who are old enough to take their own decisions...I don't see the point of comparison...It's futile and idiotic to say the least..

True that. We don't care about her. But this constant comparison between them is just so illogical. Both have different priorities, mindsets and career paths.

Also some discredting wahaj for tb and then holding him accountable for mein and smd criticism is also highly unacceptable. If he doesn't deserve credit for tb success then he shouldn't get the heat of poor critical response for smd.

I'm just wondering if yumna alone can make tb a bb then why did her new show which aired on a non competitive struggle to get a double digit rating? This 9.9 trp is also manipulated.

These numbers are as per Hum’s own standard age group & centres. The time slot is also from 8:00 pm to 8:52 pm. The actual numbers might be lesser by a few points though.

Have Hum flyers become authentic suddenly?

we have not heard anything about his next project till now ,hope he gets offered a new one soon with a good script ,he doesn't work with Hum i think (after EDW) ,that removes many prospectives like Saiffi Hassan ,Kashif Nishar etc

In terms of whole package SMD is more disastrous than Mein for me

But yeah Wahaj's role was worse in Mein

I can't imagine any A lister playing that

Bilal Abdullah is slightly ahead ,we can expect DT to pick such roles if not others
