I tried watching Khaani too but I found it very boring. Couldn't bring myself to watch more than 2-3 episodes.

Same khani was boring for me too, I think I stopped watching once the girl runs away to another city with her family.

It was a very extreme drama, feroze was full negative criminal murderer character and there were no scenes between leads except those repeatedly shown dance sequence. So I didn't continue.

Quite honestly I find it a bit unfair to compare other shows with TB and especially with Wahaj and Yumna’s chemistry. TB was just on another level in terms of how it took off and how people connected to their chemistry. That happens rarely so I don’t expect it to keep happening. It shouldn’t be the benchmark - it’s kind of unfair to expect every couple to display that level of chemistry. It doesn’t mean that they don’t have chemistry but maybe not TB level. I think it would help if they avoided scenes that look like they are recycled from TB.

Tere Bin has set a bar, so it makes sense if reviewers want to keep bringing it up. People miss seeing the chemistry that was present in that show. So I don’t begrudge them bringing it up because a lot of us think on similar lines.

But perhaps more professional comparison would have been comparing JN with Danish-Hiba’s other shows in the past. It would have been relevant to the pairing. However it does seem like they hit the nail on its head because the engagement they wanted is obvious in the comments.

Not about who did it first. It’s not a unique genre but a common one. Danish alone has done 5-6 such roles and it’s no longer a novel thing for him.

It’s about who did it best despite doing it for the first time. Wahaj and Yumna had never done something like this before and still to create history with it? Its incredible. Hits, super hits hotay rehtay hain but Tere Bin reached an iconic level and is the set bar for a reason. Warna Danish keh apne 5-6 shows hain for anyone to compare JN with

Apparently today’s review of Jaan Nisar on Something Haute talked a lot about Tere Bin Even the thumbnail is captioned as a Tere Bin comparison so of course had to watch it. Because it’s been a year and still Tere Bin’s name gets used for engagement.

- they talked about how both are formulaic but TB had a tighter story and less side walay subplots to make it more engaging and take it to the next level.

They did it respectfully while not discrediting Danish Hiba which was great. They also look nice together but I do agree with Amina that if the writing has sickly sweet dialogues then chemistry suffers. I also agree with both of them that you can create a “formula” but it rarely ever clicks the way it did with Tere Bin 🙌🏽

Interesting watch but I do wish they would stop using the show to increase views coz I definitely fell for it today

TB is used for clout as they get maximum engagement with them, looks like they are not getting enough views that's why using TB every now and then

TB is the new standard that everyone wants to beat, it's a compliment to them but constant comparison shouldn't be done to undermine others

Even new couples should try to set their own standards

I haven't seen Dewangi, khani, and other Dramas of alpha males. Obviously they would be good that's why many people like them still today. But currently Terebin, Murtasim and Yumhaj are most popular one. It was my first show which has this alpha male so its a bench mark for me and many people who loved this show.

But that fact is no matter who started OG alpha toxic male characters or not. Murtasim is the most loved one currently . Secondly, No matter which show is original or copy the real fact it that One show Terebin is most popular one in recent times and Yumhaj are most loved one couple 🧿

. One year has passed But still its the hot topic of every SM.The main couple is going on International tour and its happening for first time. 🧿 so this show is benchmark recently maybe in future some new show will takes it place and then it would be new benchmark.

Forget JN and Danish. I have seen rip offs of so many TB scenes in other shows too
