I am sure Hassan has asked her same things which Yumna replied and maybe later on she realized people may misinterpret it so she did it.

It was not controversial thing only some bilal fans made it big issue. Bilal promoted his drama the most. He wrote A whole paragraph for Yumna birthday. Used to comment on her every post e'en after many years of PKS so it tells snout their bond. There is no problem.

That's bad. Waisay is pai tou 'revenge' banta hai. Although, Kuch Ankahi as a whole is nothing to write home about but Bilal's character tou actually turned out to be a supporting character. I read that people were actually angry when Aaliya chose Salman rather than choosing Sherry (Don't even remember sherry's name in the drama )

Also I think you are missing the point. Marketing a show which is essentially a romance genre based on leads chemistry is nothing wrong. The problem with Mein was not that they talked about chemistry. The problem was that they did the false marketing and tried to fool people. When I say trying to ride 'chemistry wave and freeloading' .. this IS what I mean i.e. thopofying chemistry where it essentially does not fit in like Mein which did not have anything to do with chemistry. So yes doing the right marketing for the right product is important. Romance genre dramas SHOULD HAVE chemistry between the leads and makers can promote it. Ab 'love story' main chemistry nahin hogi tou aur hoga kia phir?

Also, Gentleman was never sold on the basis of chemistry although it IS a love story essentially and it would not have been wrong to do so. Every member of the cast and crew has always talked about how different the writing of Gentleman is and its execution and plot being different. Even in the square table Humayun shut down the question of chemistry from Aamna right away. It is audience that watched the teasers, heard the song tumhari chup and started shipping Munzar/Humna. Though, jori name might have been decided through poll before Gentleman. I mean can anybody imagine that some people actually criticize Gentleman because they think Gentleman was promoted as an action adventure genre but it turned out to be a romance. and yes it IS still the biggest drama of the year for Green.

Promoting MPHT on the basis of chemistry wasn't wrong. Also, in MPHT teasers and promotions both Zaviyar and Wahaj were included. Saad did love Maheer. Saad and Maheer did get married and process of Maheer falling in love with Saad did happen. Saad and Maheer did end up together eventually. So yes, channels promoted Saad and Maheer's chemistry and love story that is absolutely fine. Audience didn't feel the chemistry between the leads, that is a separate matter altogether.

I am talking about marketing and promotions.. it does include everyone including channels.

Reiterating and repeating again, Gentleman was promoted on the basis of plot not on the basis of chemistry and THAT IS the topic of discussion.
