Lol... the word chemistry got 'hit' after Terebin so no definitely not Yumhaj because they showed what chemistry actually is and they keep on showing it in every PS and every photoshoot. So people casting them because of chemistry is quite logical because they have proved it they can do it multiple times. Romance is not trash. I wouldn't call ITV's IPKKND or other shows trash. It is a different genre that people like.

But that Mein OST and that video was actually laughable looking at the story of Mein. This is known as trying to ride on 'chemistry wave'. Freeloading you know

And the funniest was Maria B's 'IT couple'. How the IT 'couple' was 'itting' so much in Mein .. Gosh

Kaddu made money from TB from the high TRPs but not from YT Views.

I have been listening to Ahmed Ali Butt's podcast, and he is always bringing up the issue of copyrights, profit-sharing and royalties. Apparently, when PHs make a show, they sell it to channels and get paid a lumpsum sale price plus some profit-sharing based on revenue from advertising on live TV (high TRP means more ads and a higher price per ad). But PHs don't see a penny of YT revenue. That goes 100% to the channel. The drama copyright also belongs to the channel. PHs don't see any revenue if the channel re-sells the drama to another platform. Ahmed says now that YT is becoming a big revenue source, PHs are grumbling about being excluded, and there are backroom discussions on how the revenue sharing model should change.

I think PHs want to do part 2 of their successful IPs to get a better deal from channels for their part 2s that they couldn't get for part 1s. For instance, the first time they sold TB to GEO, Kaddu wouldn't have known TB would be such a hit, so the deal they got from GEO would have been a standard deal, which means no share in YT revenue, regular base price, etc. But when he sells TB2 to GEO, he can negotiate more favorable terms.

There is something called "PEMRA", I don't know what is their job but mostly people mention it when there are romantic scenes

Fairy tales fans often used this word in their tweets and I always assumed that they were talking about director of their show who is not letting actors do romantic scenes
