…at least Ma Begum reminded Haya of her “sirf cousin” status which I laughed at 😎 But help me out here…isn’t Meerub his cousin as well? Should I just chalk this up to TereBinIllogics101 or is there a cultural aspect I’m missing here?

yeah meerab is also his cousin. Meerab is his dad’s brother’s daughter whereas haya is his aunt’s daughter. Their marriage was fixed since childhood

Meerab is his wife too right now...so obviously she has right on Murtasim ..that is why Maa begum used her status as his mother to stop Meerab...
