That's fine but why would anyone watch similar stories on every channel. For example dramas like wafa be mol, amanat and Main hari piya have story about Watta Satta. A viewer like me would not watch all these three dramas because they have kinda similar story. Excess of everything is bad.

I tried watching but it was like watching the same thing. Plus it wasn’t as gripping because the main character is Ehtashanuddin. He’s great but I couldn’t get into it. I might watch this after I’m done JBG. Couldn’t watch Hangor either. Too much of same subject at the same time.

Too dry. No eye candy. Good thing it’s a mini series. I want to watch this because of Amjad Islam Amjad, it’s been a while since we are watching anything written by him.

As a Bangladeshi I stopped watching after few minutes.

I know what our country went through and who to blame. They shouldn't even try to touch the subject without knowing the true history.. absurd 🤢

It's like reminding their massacres, killing, raping all over again by the cost of bringing the name of another country...

And the worst part is the professor whose biography this is was actually a traitor who helped pak armies to kill other Dhaka university teachers on Dec 14 when the pak army was killing all BD intellectuals

He then fled to Pakistan thinking he will be welcome there but alas he was kicked back to BD from there

I don't know if he is still alive or not

I know there were people from both sides who didn't want the partition

That's fine and I respect that and that's what Jo bichar gaye Maya and talhas characters are

But here they r victimizing and glorifying a traitor who stabbed his own BD fellow Dhaka university faculty to be in the good books of Pak army

And not just him there were many other such traitors who told the pak army the whereabouts of BD journalists writers doctors engineers teachers and hence it became so easy for pak army to find them in one day and brush fire them all so that BD can't survive even after getting independence

My nana was an engineer

His name was on the 17th dec is the killing list

If the independence happened one day later

He would have been killed too

It's a miracle he got saved as we got victory on the 16th
