Like they hardly promoted Raqs-e-Bismil and Parizaad , many ppl didn't even have idea of latter but they both turned out to be superhit in terms of yt views and trends, latter being trp slot leader too

And now they have hardly promoted bebasi, like who announces 2 days ago the date of a prime time drama.

Anyways, m excited for bebasi. Barkats previous dramas were mta and qaraar and both got good amount of views, though latter was so boring. Alizeh is a very bankable actress who even made Mera dil mera Dushman hit, also it has all masala entertainment which I want and also my favourite senior actress ismat Zaidi is there, so I am excited, hopefully it gets good viewership in yt because Dil e momin will be slot leader

Thank you so much, and I feel it's for every channel, even GEO had promoted KAM3 like a movie whereas Fitoor, Rang Mahal and Mohlat were normally hyped and the latter 3 were liked more by audience. I really don't know about ARY because I really feel they copy both HUM and Geo🤣, anyways I am loving this forum and I so wanted like minded people with whom I could discuss about Pak dramas.

But it looks like no one among starcast is even excited for their drama, anyways looking forward since I want a light watch too

So I just watched the first episode of bebasi, and it was entirely different from the promos, I know some scenes will happen but the way I was thinking, it didn't happen in that way. It was introduction of 3 families.

1. Neeli and her 1800s ka father: Neeli is a modern girl who dances but her father(Waseem Abbas) has mindset of 1800s who thinks beti is a bojh. Luckily, neither Neeli nor her sister are any sort of becharis and I loved her dialogues

2. Ifrah and her family- Ifrah (alizeh Shah) is a college girl who is in love with Sahir, her dadi doesnt like her and her mother but she still loves her and is a ladli beti.

3. Sahir, a lonely son who wants to marry Ifrah soon.

There are 2 relevations from first episode only which will connect first 2 families.

What I liked: the whole establishment of 3 families from first episode itself, secondly the characters of everyone. Alizeh was so refreshing and so khushal. Ismat Zaidi is playing an entirely different role from her fitoor, or tana Bana role and is completely negative here, and none of these girls are bechari of any sort, let's see in further episodes. Even shagufta ejaz is playing entirely different role as Neelis mother

What I didn't like: Waseem Abbas is so overbearing in these roles, reminded me of Mere apne. Also they should shown Ifrahs scene first instead of Neeli.

Overall it was a nice and refreshing episode and they have established lots of stuff. Though I didn't enjoy it that much, but since its first episode it's fine, most first episodes are like this only.

Hopefully this drama goes hit, also the ost is another banger

Did you watch the first episode? You should watch it, It may not get too much yt views initially but it was very nice, Alizeh is a person whose every drama has been hit, generally hum tv has less trps so I assess by yt views , even her Jo tu chahay was hit, let's hope this is a hit, though Initially it may won't get that views

I m so glad to see Kaushal isn't shown to be an out and out psycho

Loved Kaushal and alizey scenes

I feel so sad to see wasim Abbas age so much

He looks too old and ill

But his dialogues with a friend in the restaurant were hilarious

I liked all 3 families

Ali rehmans family is yet to get intro

All n all better than I expected

The supporting cast is really good

I didn't know Eshal Fayyaz is a part of this drama..😲

Alizay and Khushhal look good togather.. but I hope Alizay stops using much makeup .

It is written by Aliya Bukhari , so I may keep watching.😕

Tbvh I really feel this drama will be a commerical hit, barkat+ Aliya last Collab was Qaraar, script wasn't gr8, all of them in Qaraar weren't that popular but still every episode got 2.5 million+ views, considering it was uploaded on hum dramas, not main hum channel. Also, alizeh is immensely popular and this script also looks better.

I really found it to be better than Dil e momin, I just didn't like how hum tv didn't promote it at all, when they can overpromote hkkst, ishq e laa , dobara everyday they could have atleast promoted this but I just hope now they release the ost

I thought Hum tv learned from its mistakes, but no. It still doesn't promote its dramas well.

I don't care about TRPs or commercial success.. but actors are affected. So I hope this drama does well.

I hope Aliya wrote it the way she wrote Yun To Hai Pyar Bohot.

There was another Bukhari writer : Samra Bukhari who used to write for Geo.. I wonder where she is now!😕
